Seriously. On average how long does flat line last?

Mine lasted from mid March to around beginning of May. Just so you know when one ends another one can begin at a later time. I have not experienced that though.

Yeah it is annoying and scary but embrace this time. This is going to help you reboot and rewire without any urges of relapse to interfere. You want this to last a good while.

Flatline hit me the moment I went on reboot/rewire. For me the moment I know flatline ended was first my morning wood came back with a vengeance. Second I downloaded a Penthouse mag and got a real strong urge to fap but I closed the file and dumped it. Then I headed to the gym.

On my PMO counter it stated March 20th as my starting date. Actually it was much earlier like around between March 10 to March 15. I freaked out in those five days. I didn't know what a flatline was at the time so i really forced things on myself. It was uneventful and repulsive because of the flatline. So I went cold turkey.

If you have a flatline and you are feeling like you have no libido, for me its a good thing because its no urges to relapse.. makes things easier right? Right now i relapsed but im getting alot of urges i wish im on a flatline..

It varies, these are the official guidelines:

    • The Surge: The period 5-14 days after the start of a streak often features a physically recognizable surge in energy and sexual drive, which seems to be associated with the rebooting-induced testosterone surge observed in the study listed below.
    • Flatlining: Many NoFappers report one or more periods of zero libido during their streak, especially in the 2-6 week period. Transitioning from an overexcited, always-eager libido to none at all can be disconcerting and even scary for the experienced masturbator, but many Fapstronauts report that it is only a phase in the reboot and will pass.

Could my ED be a blood flow issue if I am capable of getting morning wood most mornings?

Also - I watched a ton of porn the last 16 years and sometimes even masturbated 3 times a day.

I can share with you MY experience:

    • I've been battling serious ED for well over a year
    • I've seen all types of doctors, I am healthy healthy healthy, fit, you name it. I even had the test to measure blood flow to my penis. Everything is physically fine.
    • I am not fat, no chronic diseases, I take no medications.
    • I used to take those expensive ED drugs, the magic pill and at one point the stopped working, even at max dose, eve staking 2 different drugs at the same time
    • I've been porn free for a bit over 3 weeks with 1 relapse and I have seen major improvements.
    Trust the process, go NoFap.

Dude. My erection this morning was hard as a rock and stayed hard up to an hour when waking up. That hasn't happened since I was in my early 20's. I was worried I would go to the hospital if it didn't go down.

Could my ED be caused by blood flow if I get hard morning wood?

Mechanically speaking an erection is nothing more that blood filling up the penis.

When it doesn't happen, it's because there's not (enough) blood filling up the penis.
The causes can be one or more of the following:
    • Diabetes
    • Obesity
    • Performance anxiety
    • Depression
    • Other mental health issues
    • Deficiency of Nitric Oxide
    • Deficiency in Testosterone levels
    • Endocrine system not working properly
    • Medications
    • Dieting (not eating enough calories)
    • Food choices: too little fat in the diet affect the endocrine system negatively, not enough protein affect sexual performance negatively, not enough cholesterol in your diet affect testosterone production negatively, not enough carb in your diet affect sexual performance negatively, too much fat is just as bad as too little fat; too much protein is just as bad as too little protein
    • High blood cholesterol levels
    • Loss of sensitivity in the penis (multiple causes of this, some physical, some psychological)
    • I am sure there are more.........
    • Last but not least: habitual PMO / PMO addictions
Taking care of each one of the above is good practice for general health. In my own personal case, I was healthy in any and all measures, I tweaked my diet so many time in so many variations and permutation. Only when I quit Porn I saw tangible, repeatable, long lasting results.

So, quit Porn, that's a start. Read about rebooting and figure out a course of action for you, and then also try to get as healthy as possible in your life for your own good.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a doctor, nor I play one on the internet, but from my readings this is what I know.

    That, I don't know.

What I know is that quitting porn fixed my ED. That's all I need to know.
