Yeah, I was wondering if there's any discreet P-blocking software out there. I tried K9 but it annoyed me with its in-your-face interface. I'd like something that stays totally hidden but if you try to access something bad, you can't. I've also tried editing the "hosts" file, which works well until I find it and re-edit it in about eight seconds. Something password-protected would be good. If it was free that would be great but I'm willing to pay also. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
I think there are plenty of internal blocking systems that corporations use for limiting the online access of their employees when working. If you are willing to pay then you can ask a professional to install those kind of system for you. However, I think it is more important for you to inherently change your mind. Blocking isn't the way to do it as you are not fundamentally solving the problem. After you install a blocking software on your computer, you can still look for porn on your phone. Let's say even if you installed blocking software on every piece of device you are carrying, sometimes they might be dysfunctional. Sometimes they might not be able to block explicit material completely. You need to rewire your mind in order to quit PMO successfully.
Thanks for the suggestion. I might end up installing something like that myself, then burying the password somewhere lol. I agree that it's more important to change my mind. I just thought I'd try a decent blocker for some additional help. A bit like how an alcoholic shouldn't have a load of alcohol in his house, it might help me if I can't access any P in my house. Adult chat rooms are an issue for me as well.. I guess that just counts as P anyway.
Yea definitely. Doesn't matter if it's porn or porn-related things. You should quit ANYTHING that relates to sexual arousal.
Fortunately not, although sometimes if I'm staying in a hotel or somewhere it can be more of an issue.
