I'm currently on my 17th day of hardmode. Sure I don't wan't to watch porn again, but I'm 16. I think it may be a while before I lose my virginity, and I can't imagine not satisfying my urges until then. I was wondering, I know for a fact that porn is unhealthy and disgusting and immoral but can there be moderation by just good old fashioned MO? Not that I'm going to try it anytime soon but I'm not going to deny that I won't ever slip again.
MO is the main source of all of the problems stemming from PMO. Pornography is just a tool used to get you into MO, so MO isn't a good idea whether or not pornography is involved, so unfortunately MO does not moderate it. As for your virginity, don't worry too much about it! I may be a bit biased as I'm kind of "conservative", but I think that you should find someone you truly love and truly loves you, and lose your virginity to that person after marriage. Yes, you may have to wait a bit, but at the same time being promiscious or sleeping with lots of others is to me the same thing as PMO, just an alternative. Try getting into new things which will keep you busy and also get you more social and the chance to meet new people.
You know I said the same thing when I was 17...now I'm 20 still battling this problem. You need to end it before it's too late. Trust me I felt the same exact way.
I agree, I see older men on here who have ED and other complications due to this addiction. That mortifies me. It's one of the reasons I stopped. I'm glad I sighed up for this website. You and others are probably all that's stopped me from relapsing. Thank you for that.

Oh I agree. I'll lose my virginity to someone I care about. But hey, if you're going to buy a car, wouldn't you want to test drive it first? Not that sex is the only thing that matters but it's important to me. I guess I shouldn't be thinking about that all the time, it's starting to make my head hurt. But about what you said getting into more things. Well I tried it out a little already. I went down to the park and ran a mile. 6 minutes and 53 seconds. Afterwards I did sit ups for 15 minutes and lifted some weights I found at my apartment for 15 minutes. I've wanted to exercise for a while, but I always found some way to put it off. But after that I took a cold shower actually, I made some food and sat down to watch a show that I've also been putting off watching more episodes, it's called Hell On Wheels. Now I'm playing guitar. It's a lot more fun than PMO.
ah yes, I've played them all except 3. You should play melee only. that's a real challenge. I played mage/cleric first to get a feel. I liked playing DS2 yet it left me unfulfilled. BTW it was the last video game I ever played.
You do bring up a good point, but you'll most likely feel ashamed after the "test." Like you said, just get your mind on something more healthy. Speaking of which, running a mile? That's exercise, which is very healthy as a lot of people nowadays don't find time to do it. Also, cold showers too. It's said that they have a lot of health benefits. Shows.. I've been meaning to continue watching netflix shows more but I always put it off. Thanks for the motivation! The pursuer, yeah he was a bitch. My advice, roll toward him toward his shield...don't roll away as he will always get you. It took make close to 25+ tries. He was my hardest boss next to the rotten.

That's one of the goals of NoFap! Your success can be transferred to other areas of your life. It's great that you're trying to better yourself. Try to focus on school and work, and most likely you'll eventually attract people (but don't focus on this).
