It's interesting that you say your libido is getting better, as though it's a gradual thing.

When my libido came back during my first proper streak, it happened practically overnight. Whatever part of the brain that controls it had just switched itself back on. I went from a dead, numb dick with zero attraction to women to feeling like I was going through puberty. I didn't really believe in nofap at the time so wasn't expecting it and was totally unprepared - which led to me relapsing.

I kind of feel like this is how PAWS will end for me also, if it ever does.

 

Yeah, it’s been weird. I mean my libido disappeared overnight and came back few weeks later but gradually as well in the first few months.

 

I still remember your posts on " RebootNation ", it is good to know you are doing better : - ) . Keep in touch, what you learn from yourself may be important for others.

 

I always think about that, gradual or like a switch ?

When your libido returned, did your genital numbness fade away ? And did it return with relapse ?

 

Can you say that your confidence and assertiveness were more natural when libido was present ?

 

I equate libido(well, the lack of) with genital numbness, to me they come and go as a pair.

The genital numbness went away over night but took maybe three days to reach 100%. As soon as I looked at P again I could actually feel the libido draining from my body and my dick going numb again, I still went through with it though and relapsed 3 or 4 times. It's been numb ever since.

 

See I don’t have the numbness, I did in the beginning. I remember before or after this started I was waking up with panic attacks.

 

At least you know what is on the " other side " waiting for you.

 

The numbness is in my brain, my D is probably fine underneath it all, I just can't feel it. Honestly, it feels no different to my thumb.

If you don't have the numbness then what do you feel? You have sex but aren't totally into it mentally?

 

Doesn´t your penis feel like rubber ? Also different skin color because of less blood flow ? My dick looks like a broken neck ! Zombie dick.

 

The only place my libido has ever gotten me is here lol.

I want it back because I feel it's tied to everything else, without it I feel dead. Hopefully I do at a better job at harnessing it should it come back.

 

Libido is tied to everything in human behaviour and dynamic, it is the most powerful drive in the world.

 

Yeah, it just feels like nothing, internally and externally.

If I think of something sexual, I get an erection but I wouldn't really know I had one without looking at it. There's a slight sense of pressure but no pleasure, sometimes there's a bit of an achy feeling. Not sure about skin colour but my glans seem to be either really pale or really dark, before all of this it was a vibrant pinky/red.

I meant the numb penis. I had that but eventually went away. The numb brain I did have as well but no longer have it.

 

Libido is the extra push for sure. When I lost my motivation that was hell. I got back but still had no libido. With libido motivation for sure feels way better.

 

Yeah libido is crazy. My anxiety is reduced massively when I have my libido. I don't have time to think about anxiety – just want throw myself into life 100%.

 

Absolutely! I walked around town for a few days thinking every girl fancy me. How can she she not?! I felt invincible. I have a very high libido though, very high. Which is why I have messed this up so many times... I go from feeling like a grey, zombie, with a limp dick and a brain full of sludge – and then... just like that – I feel incredible and I can't handle it. (Relapse...)

 

Libido is the perfect tool for exercise, and make all kind of gains ! And sex of course.

 

Can't wait for it to come back! Been getting into great shape feeling awful! Dragging myself to the gym with no energy. But managed to bulk up a bit.

I think I'm very close to my libido coming back. I just got super bad urges to watch porn for the first time in 7 months. Surely, that means I'm close to it coming back for real women? I spend half the day with sensitivity down there and then it goes again. The brain is about to switch back on I think!!!
