Day 7 Complete. Heavy urges throughout the day at the end of the week but this was part of my Initiate trials - last day of the week the hardest. But got through it and have now made it to Jedi Padawan! Oh yeeeaahh Day 8 begins as the next phase of my training begins. May the force be with me. May the force be with you all.
Day 30 - Jedi Knight! @LLOYYD You mean about the frustration + urges? I don't really have anything useful to say. I tend to dance whenever I'm burning up, and it does the trick. I advised a fellow user in The Matrix Challenge on that. Whether it still works in a month's time, and so on, I guess I'll find out. Was there any particular reason you ignored jury duty? Definitely can relate regarding the power aspect of semen retention, and of course, it ties in nicely with what I wrote not so long ago about each person having their own power! Day 74 - Jedi Master 4 @Red_John Dancing? You mean doing something physical for urges? I ignored my Jury duty because my family told me to and thought it was fine considering the fact I know plenty of people would attend upon it. My dad told me "Other employees ignore it because they never heard of anyone getting penalize for missing a jury duty. As everyone would say it is a complete waste of time. Which I agree 100%. But apparently, I can't do that now. I have to resolve it soon. Because of this I was frustrated and I had urges as well so if I fell it would have made sense because of urges. I'm glad I didn't. I need resolve this issue ASAP on that. JEDI KNIGHT, I don't know busy and probably if he is not doing it on his own then he not ready to start a new streak again. He will come around and return eventually again when he is ready. Lastly, I am thinking about joining your challenges out of boredom. It's fine but it will only be simple check ins. The Matrix Challenge well but I will wait until before 180 days on my streak. I have my reasons but not yet lol. I still am going to use the concept here from time to time with the chance is given Better mood these days. It won't happen all the time. I wish it was like this all the time. Day 31 - Jedi Knight @LLOYYD I always though jury duty was mandatory if you were called up, unless you have an exceptional reason. Well, it is in the UK anyway. I'm sure they've had people miss jury duty for various reasons, but try and get it resolved quickly. Usually in the UK, when your receive the letter regarding jury duty, you have to acknowledge it within a week, I think. Did you have to acknowledge it? If not, I suppose you could say you never received the letter! Yeah, physical activity like dancing helps with my urges when they reach burning point.
Day 1 Been a long time since I've been on Nofap. Took a lot of personal time off the site to really break myself down and think about the progress I've made and what still stands in the way of my success at this point in time. I was encouraged to start making small positive changes in my life and so I decided what better positive change than to engage with people all supporting each other to greatness. Glad to be here and I look forward to being a committed member of this forum.
@Red_John Congrats on Jedi Knight! Recently, I called in and rescheduled it. So I guess I was given an option it was dismissed the first time around and said to never received the notice/never got to respond in time. So they will send in another notice two weeks from now. I guess I have to attend now. I can't refuse to not attend because if I keep ignoring it then I will to have pay the $1500 fine or I have to serve jail time most likely. Not good. Once I am there, I hope it is the same court place near where I live. Another thing, I hope whatever case it is will be resolved immediately like last time I attended. Still though, I am not qualified. Why would they pick me if there is case? Ah whatever. All I have to do is suck it up and attend it instead paying the fine or go to jail. Like I said, how unfair they can ignore it then they never get penalized for it to disregarding it. Seriously, another situation similar to this. Whatever.
I'm back!! For various compelling reasons I missed some time, I admit that this did not help me in my recovery process, but I am already on my third day and ready to return to 110% every day. So.... day 3 checking in!
Day 75 - Jedi Master 5 Welcome again friend, I honestly thought you were keeping up and ongoing on your journey. Any way, welcome back fellow Jedi! I bet you JEDI KNIGHT is probably on break atm as well. I was going to ramble about something but I saved it for now. Minimize it as best as I can. Let's just say it is about the simple rules about P-subs and such. How people will classify P-subs as P. Stupid. As I was also reflecting earlier, there might be a chance later I will quit Hard Mode for a while if not for good and only do Semen Retention streak. Don't worry Jedi friends, I will still be here in the forums to do my own NoFap journey which is only a Semen Retention/NoFap streak instead. I am only going to say it here. I am still proud on my current SR/NoFap streak. No one can say anything about that Still doing my best every day in Hard Mode. I had some ideas for Challenges to create for NNN rules applied for me to actually do for myself as Red_John. Only ideas atm. That's it. Even though as I said, I am not 100% yet. I know I can do this and reach all my goals on here if done properly. We are indeed we are in the endgame now. I need to prepare and doing whatever I can on this NoFap journey fellow Jedi friends. Day 32 - Jedi Knight @LLOYYD Glad you managed to get it resolved. Regarding P-Subs, I think for most people, it's not the equivalent to porn. For me personally, I used to masturbate to someone who is just a TV presenter. Non nude, but I find her utterly beautiful, so I guess in my case, if I went to look at pics of her, it'd be similar to porn, due to my past experiences of masturbating to her. So in my own situation, I can't look at pics of her, because my brain would make the connections I don't want it to make. So yeah, for 99% of the time, P-Subs aren't the equivalent of porn.
Day 4 checking in! I had a few relapses these months, but I still don't give up and now that I'm back on the forum I plan my first personal challenge: keep the streak going in April
Day 76 - Jedi Master 6 @Red_John Oh I see, it is P-sub in your case. Even then, how is it even P? It is just a photo of her not P. She is not even in a sexy outfit and even if she was half almost half nake it is not P. As long as it is not nudes. That is not even classified as P from what you described even if they were wearing something sexy like a bikini. That's not P. Some would consider small things like short shorts or something is P not P-subs. Sometimes I want to say screw Hard Mode. Semen Retention/Nofap streak no can say anything to me on that matter. Even if I would slip at times on P-subs/P then I would be still on my streak regardless. Yeah, I will leave it at that. I will keep rambling about this. Day 106! It's not P, if people say Psubs are P, they are tripping... But doesn't matter that P subs are not technically P—our brains see them as P, in a sense that they sexually arouse us the same way as soft-core P would. The brain doesn't care about dictionary definition of things, it will still have similar effect as P. And usually Psubs tend to be triggers that escalate to full blown P use, so it's good idea to avoid them for that reason alone. To give an analogy: if watching P is like O'ing then Psubs is like edging, in my opinion—you are close to the P, but not technically there yet. Personally I have forbidden myself from Psubs. But I have also slipped on them a while ago. But I only reset the streak in some challenges where the OP made rules that forbid Psubs. But I did not reset my whole PMO streak because of that, because it's not technically porn. Different people will want to set different rules for themselves, some more strict and some more loose. I don't focus on that, they can do whatever they want, I focus on my reboot.
Hello brothers, how's it going? I didn't want to get back on the forums until I was on a sufficient streak. I didn't feel good about posting while relapsing every couple of days. I'm on day 8 right now and seeing how it goes. One thing that got me off of Pmo for now was a girl, or girls. I'm not dating either of them, but one of them asked me to come to her house last night and her boyfriend wasn't there. Very suspicious. Nothing happened between us, but she's comfortable with dancing, fighting and hugging me. Asking me to see her alone at her house when she's alone makes me wonder. And she said she felt guilty about not being with her boyfriend, who kept calling her all night and she didn't answer the phone. She said she didn't want him to know that I was with her. It really sounds obvious what's going on, but I don't know if she understands what she's doing, or is if it's just that she's acting on feelings and not thinking about it. And there's this other girl from my class who might be into me. I was thinking of asking her out. It's hard to tell if she likes me because she's really shy.
