Here is my TOP 10 List of Things to do Instead of PMO: 1) Donate $10: If I Pmo I need to Donate $10 to A Homeless Person (as Charity) So one Nut would cost me $10 and wouldn't be free. (If you have more money you need to donate more even $100 if you're Rich) and you should set it as an Absolute Condition always if you want to really be Healed. 2) Drink Coffe 3) Go Outside 4) Go See Friends 5) Order Food 6) Go See my Girlfriend / Wife / Ex-girlfriend / Someone 7) Get out of my House 8) Go sit on a bench on a park (I don't care if people will think that I'm a psychopath, always better than PMO)) 9) Sleep 10) Gym Bonus: 11) Cold Shower 12) Go to the Beach 13) See friends / old friends 14) Go see some family members. 15) Do 100 Pushup in a row ONLY IN DIRE SITUATIONS: 16) Turn off Wifi cables and/or cut it with scissor. I would be really happy, if more people can give more Ideas so I can implement them in my List. so any good Idea would be Appreciated ! and will be surely added in my TOP LIST !
A few suggestions: Volunteer. Learn. Try something new. Listen to / play music. Explore. Cook food. Get creative. Go and feed the [animal(s) of choice].
I have had a streak of 210 days, 1335 days , and now I am on day 127 thanks to Almighty Allah. But I have never had cold shower.
Here are my top 7: Exercise (especially weightlifting or bodyweight; I haven't found cardio to be quite as effective but it's still great) Go on a walk (preferable outside and in nature, but a treadmill works pretty OK too) Singing (I'm a terrible singer, but it's fun anyway) Playing an instrument (if you want to learn, you can start pretty easily on a tin whistle, recorder, or melodica) Reading (This one is only effective if I'm really into a book) Drawing or writing (As long as you can focus on it for a while) Spending time with friends and family
The only surefire one for me. Get out into public, be around people, even people I don't know. Alone in my room is the worst place to be if I am tempted.
