you can take self-defence class to be able to protect yourself, having firearms only ensure that crime is more deadly.
reckless, should have called the cops first, had he not succeeded well...

You have high expectations of the rozzers. You can order a pizza and it would be delivered faster than the police coming to your location. Criminals will still have access to weapons (knives, bats, golf clubs). Better off having a concealed carry, as it would decrease crime tenfold when a thug gets confronted with it and would be set as an example for other thugs.

this one's point is that in a society know for allowing firearms to civs it does not matter where you conceal your guns, everyone assume everyone else has a gun and react accordingly; how stupid it would be not to carry a guns when 90% of the populace do and they can do whatever they want to those who do not carry one?

and having a concealed weapons decrease crime? where did you get that from? some studies show that firearm used for self-defence is quite rare.

You’ve seen what’s happening in America the last year? You’re better off having a gun to deal with thugs. Your self defense analogy aimed at @AtomicTango is also a bit delusional, unless you’re really good at it. The everyday Joe is not good with self defense fighting and would be better off having a gun instead of getting beat up by criminals in front of his own family. Quick, simple, and easy. Why succumb to the thugs?

So let’s not have guns and let thugs who obtain guns illegally run the streets? Got you. It’s common sense. Nobody will mess with you if there is a mystery if you have a gun or not.

    This is very true

Police won’t instantly show up when you are getting beaten within in an inch of your life, it’s your responsibility.

Plus it’s easier to train a citizen to be proficient with a gun than it does with any martial form of combat.

I agree with these sentiments, that we need to be addressing the cause and not further isolating them (and therefore legitimizing them) with terrorist designations-- I only brought up the "teen love" obsession that incels have because they've now entered into a negative feedback loop. Reminds me a lot of feminism, actually, where there may have been legit concerns that could and should have been addressed, but before anyone could turn back there were people like Andrea Dworkin claiming all sex was rape, and now it's a warped misandrist movement.

Because it is my man. You can find anything in the black market. Not only that, most of their guns are stolen ones.

Yes, call the cops while a dangerous, mentally ill man is in our kitchen, easily able to get upstairs and hurt his children. That's what any father would do...

    Get outta here lmao.

Seems like the solution then would be to restrict gun ownership since most of them belonged to civs in the first place, but this one can see that we view things differently and he respect that.
sure, that is the smart thing to do, no call the cops himself or make anybody else do it while he go toward a possible fight to the death, much smarter to call the cavalry after the battle is won.

It was nowhere near a fight to the death. My dad is a strong man who has lived a life of doing physical labour. The other guy never stood a chance.

In all seriousness, you can't apply "could've should've would've" to situations like this. When someone is in your house and is trying to hurt your family, you go into fight or flight mode. My dad chose fight. He's not a trained SAS officer who knows how to react properly under pressure, he saw a threat and stopped it. That's all there is to it.

the point stand, he did not know what kind of person the other guy was or how many there were and in all likelihood he had more than enough time to call for help first, so what he did was indeed reckless no reason in laughing your ass off our point.

You're assuming all those details based on literally nothing. He did know who the other person was. He did know how many there were, and he did not have enough time to call for help - the man was already in our kitchen. It's easy to say someone should have done this or should have done that, when they have never been in a comparable situation.

God forbid, someone tries to break into your home. Try calling the police and observe what realistically happens. I'm sure you'll be glad you weren't reckless while the attacker is trying to kill you. You might get beaten up, but at least you'll have intellectual superiority, and that's what counts, right?

Teen love pilled I never heard that.
The guy was a pessimistic/hateful romantic. He was also using coke to cope with missing his "lost" of never experienced teen love.

This is a side I haven't seen of incels yearning for a past "teen love" they never had.
Others yearn for a future of success to get the girl. Or the impossibility to get the girl because of looks.

They are romantics dreaming on the idea of love. But the thing is their love it's a love that won't happened and they rejoice subconsciously in this sick romanticism of being romantic losers.

A hate/love romanticism. Desire is the base of their existence a constant fight of hating or loving themselves and the world.

In this case it was hate who won the battle.
