I have an frustrating evening with a hobby project. But I'm committed to the goals of this thread. And I will not give up especially today on "starwars day". May the 4th be with you lol.
Yesterday night I slipped up and ended up masturbating which sucks but I didn't watch porn, which is what matters to me. P-day 15 (completed) M- day 1 (in progress) O- day 1 (in progress) 30 min Meditation (completed) Exercise (rest day completed) Overall it was a wierd experience because when I woke up this morning I didn't feel like I usually do when watch porn and masturbate, usually I feel bad and have to force myself out of bed but today I actually felt motivated to wake up, im still angry that I wasn't able to resist but I was really uncomfortable atm hopefully I don't have to do this again.
At least you didn't watch porn. But masturbating is bad and technically a reset to day 0. But you can count it as you want to - whatever keeps you going. See, that's also normal to have those relapses. The drill now has to be, that you get the daycount up again. Don't think of this as a complete loss. You maintained a decent streak and that's a good amount of time away from porn. If you just do the same now you will have reduced 90% of you porn- usage and that's a win. From using it rarely to getting it down to 0 is easier, then getting it down from 100% usage. So - that's good. It will become easier to get long streaks. With porn fading away from your life, you can start creating a way to work around the stressors that make you use porn in the first place. You develop them, as porn goes away and if you think of it like that - then you're on a good way. So keep it up Cheers.
P- day 16 (complete) M- day 1 (complete) O- day 1 (complete) Meditation- (40 mins completed) Exercise- (uncompleted) Yesterday was an overall good day, I was a little scared that I would get the usual symptoms associated with when you relapse but I felt none, even this morning I felt calm and clear. The fear I had yesterday ruined my confidence to go out for a run but not any more.
Day 6 as well! Just started working in a new job, which luckily distracts me and makes me feel accomplished at the end of the day!
