What's up everyone - I just started doing some high school teaching in Science - Chemistry, Biology, Earth Science and Co-Teaching PE. I already do a lot of self-learning and reading. Would like to joint to track my progress, mostly in the re-education of the Science topics that I'm teaching. Also I try to read my Bible daily, so it would be nice to track that. *I've been re-reading "Millionaire Success Habits" by Dean Graziosi - Less a book about becoming a millionaire and more so just good habit and positive thinking. I saw the Navajo proverb on this thread about the feeding of the Two Wolves and love it. Today: 1) Bible 1 chapter of John
I don't actually time my readings and other such things. I'm somewhat of a placebo- if I don't know how much time I'm spending on something productive I am not bothered by the time investment. Not sure if that's okay with The Academy, but I would just like to list what I learned vs. durations. Today: A) Finished Jon Gruden's book "Do you love Football?" for the second time B) Did a Chemistry learning module my pupils will be studying C) Read 3 chapters of the Old Testament of the Bible, and actually the whole book: Joel D) Did some free-reading of Dean Graziosi's "Millionaire Success Habits" while in transit today E) Will read another chapter of John from the New Testament tonight (New King James Version)- typically reading the Bible and prayer is how I end my night D) Sometimes to help myself wind down I do a lighter reading. Right now I'm reading a book called "Self-Theories"
Good luck . What's up . Everything is okay as long as you do your thing and it is beneficial for you to be here .
A) Science - Earth Science this morning module B) Three chapters of the Old Testament Bible - Amos C) Re-Read some pages of Transit - a 30 day journey towards God D) Will read a chapter of John tonight from the New Testament Bible & maybe a section from Self-Theories tonight to unwind
This academy have been a great motivation for me for a long time now... Feeling good to finally be joining in.. I have to revise my 6 years of studying. And I need to study for at least 3-4 hours a day. I will be reporting from tomorrow... Chemistry = Chem..
a) Crammed Chemistry readings hard to help my pupils learn. b) Watched 2xScience Modules. c) Read 3 Chapters of Old Testament Bible Amos - Finished the book. Will read a chapter of John tonight. I bounce back and forth between reading Urban Meyer's Above the Line and Dean Graziosi's Millionaire Success Habits. They give me good fuel. d) Might read some Indiana Jones fiction tonight e) Likely I will read some from my Self-Theories book tonight just before bed Overall, productive day
