I like that you put God first. With this priority, everything else should fall in place automatically. Ps 37:4: "Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
I am grateful for this website, people here as well as things I have learnt in this place during this time.
I myself have relapsed several times while watching YouTube. Even when I felt no desire to fap. Images, or footage, of certain women would trigger PMO!
Started to use Wizmage Image Hider last year, find it very helpful. Wizmage but also this program: https://accountable2you.com/ where very important steps in recovery in the last (nearly) 18 months - both advised by my Accountibility Partner I met here on this website. Finally, also thanks to this site I understood what edging is and stopped doing it last year. I am very grateful for nofap.com. Have learnt a lot from it and some people here.
@Barnabas_ can you give examples and elaborate on your first post when you said your relationship with fear changed. You said you fear things a lot less?
I'd say three things: 1. Fear and anxiety about the future are much less intensive than before. I am not saying that that it has disapeared but is lower. My life used to be dominated by guilt and shame about the past and fear about the future. 2. More courage in interaction with others, new people I meet. 3. Probably most important - without shame and guilt as a consequence of P and M there is less fear. I realised also that fear or anger were often secondary emotions to shame/guilt (which are roots).
Thanks barnabas_ I can really relate to what you just said especially the bit where you say I'm like that right now, in fact I literally used those exact same words to describe myself yesterday. I hope can reach a place where you are now by finally getting rid of PM
