By the way, I find this concept extremely intriguing. I've thought about doing something similar. Interesting and glad to see others have thought the same and have turned it into a challenge.
Day one done. Starting day 2 with a clear head. @Starman123 and @hermitthefrog I'm honored to do this detox alongside you guys.
I've done this detox challenge before (before joining nofap) but failed horribly with a lot of binging on the 5th or 6th day
Checking in on day 3/30. Going out and talking to people is a great alternative to sitting at home watching YouTube or worse!
Checking in on day 4/30. Even without YouTube, Netflix, TV, news websites, porn, social media, random surfing and forums (other than this one) there is a lot of distraction out there! So much that I wonder how much of a detox this really is. I try to avoid (excess use of) certain things that aren’t covered by the rules at the start of this thread, such as email, messaging apps and other phone apps that provide a feed of new information (e.g. stock prices or the weather). However the problem we face in today’s world is that it is almost impossible to “unplug” completely. How many of us are able to go 100% offline for a day, let alone a week or a month?
Didn't check-in for a long time. Started this challenge at the same time as PMO counter. Couple days ago allowed myself video games, but don't wanna scroll social media with no reason, so I forbid it. Thank you @Bihari !
Hey, guys! I've been on this challenge before, but somewhere on the middle of it I lost track. I'm starting again. I'll restrict: - Youtube - Social media - Smartphone checking - News checking I'll reinforce: - Meditation - Exercise - Reading - Studying - Proper sleep Today is day 0.
