Dude... Witcher 3 (spoiler)...... when uncle vesemir died...loved that character. he lived and died like a warrior.
Off the top of my head, the death of Aeris in Final Fantasy VII (I refuse to call her by the ‘corrected’ lispy sounding name), when the now grown Metroid sacrifices itself for Samus at the end of Super Metroid, and the super emotional cutscenes at the end of Spider-Man on PS4.
I see a lot of old but gold games in this thread. I guess yall are pretty old! Chrono Trigger was a pretty emo game too, I think. Especially Magus' side story. The ending of FFVII Crisis Core was also very emotional for me. Jeanne de Arc for the PSP had a few characters who did not deserve to die. Likewise for 'Tactics Ogre: Let us cling together'.
There’s quite a few (especially older titles) that really made an impact for me, off the top of my head I’d have to name Heavy Rain, Detroit: Become Human, and Metal Gear Solid 4: GoTP. That rooftop fight with Liquid Ocelot and Snake crawling afterwards had me balling like a bloody baby. I’m glad I’ve gotten to experience a lot of good moments in gaming.
When that damn mushroom told me the Princess was in another castle. My emotion was frustration and rage, but hey, those are emotions, too.
Oh, possibly entering Howling Fjord for the first time in WoW - hearing those Uilleann Pipes. I must have been a child, but that's the reason I got my pipes.
Mine is a few years back when I was playing counter strike in office and all died except one on each side and out of those two one was me with +1 life and other was somewhere in +80.. And when I killed him I shouted.. that's it's motherf******... Hehehe.. and the whole team including my manager heard it and all were loooking at me.. hehehe.. pretty awesome
