24/30. I will count last day even if I stopped a bit after my deadline. My wife was out and eating dinner and I had to stay awake because I had promised her to meet her on the way home. I was actually tired at 9 pm and almost fell asleep... so I had to do something in order to stay awake, which was watching a movie (Drunken Master). Stopped at 22:11.
Sounds legit. 0/30 I switched to a new phone last night and got it set up. I would have made an exception for setting up the basic necessities, but I went beyond that and added a couple non-essential apps (blue light filter, Stay Focused, and Messenger Lite). I went to bed at 9:45 or so (I have a 15 month-old who wakes us up around 5:30 every morning) but woke up around 2 thinking about all the work I'll have to do over the next few days. I couldn't get back to sleep so started working. I'm so tempted to start browsing the internet or even watch porn. But I haven't done it yet and I actually got a bunch of work done. I'd like to go back to sleep but I don't know if I'm ready yet. Maybe a little meditation...
I'm in!! I want to turn screens off at 10:30pm and not start using any screen until I pray first in the morning. 0/30
0/30. I forgot that I had added an additional rule saying that I’m not allowed to write on my computer after the deadline, even if I’m not watching the screen. Wrote for about ten minutes before I realised it.
2/30 Yeah, I know, it was the added rule that got me. Didn't think about I wasn't allowed to type on the keyboard even if didn't watch the screen. Then I realised it too late. But it doesn't really matter tbh, the purpose for me with this challenge is to "stay healthy" in some sense
8/30 I was traveling this week-end and didn't have a chance to get to the forums. But I was able to stay strong throughout! Maybe this challenge is establishing a "new normal" for me... Not that I'm there yet, but I do feel progress.
