Meditation, excercises, reading self-help books and going outside and hanging out with people who care about you could help you get through a stressful period of time.
0/30 First challenge and new member as of today! Definitely glad I stumbled upon this nofap website. I’ve started noticing that my porn sessions were getting harder and harder to stay hard literally. Noticing my dick barely feels anything anymore and I’m having to “death grip” more just to try and keep my erections or be able to cum. Stumbled on this website, learning a lot and look forward to improvements that I’ve read from others. Lets do the damn thing fellas!
Awesome, thanks man! Yeah, I really feel like different "difficulty levels" work for different people. Porn seems like by far my biggest issue, so if I can get away from that, I'm happy!
Welcome! I'm kinda new too: been here 19 days. So far it's really helped me avoid porn. And being off porn has been even more beneficial than I expected. Good luck!
Hey man, that's awesome! I'm no expert but I feel like the more you can focus on your accomplishment, the better. You and your brain just did something pretty awesome that, I bet, few men do these days: go 30 days without porn. If you do "reward" yourself with porn, maybe try enjoying it and then get back on another challenge tomorrow. You've proven you have the power to resist porn. You can start another 30-day challenge whenever you want, and you know you can complete it. If you prefer not to "reward" yourself (and, to me, there's no right or wrong about that), do you have other things to do when you start getting the urge? It's not for everyone but these guided meditations are pretty much my favorite ways to unwind:
0/30 I messed up... I was masturbating this morning and suddenly started thinking of a colleague whom I'd been messaging with on a work site. Without thinking, I pulled up her picture and used it. I'm not used to thinking of that kind of thing as "porn," though I think it's useful to define 'porn' broadly to include that kind of thing. If I define porn narrowly as, for example, videos of people having sex, or images of naked people, etc., I'll just find some kind of picture or video that doesn't meet the definition and will overuse it and masturbate too much. So anyway, I'm glad I made it 21 days and I learned from that slip-up. And I'm re-starting this challenge NOW.
