Anyone else going bald? I'm 22 and have noticed I'm going bald.. Will nofap do anything to our hair or should we just accept it?
I started balding at 22. Just accept it. Hair has nothing to do with attraction when it comes to women. Personality matters much more. A girl will never approach an attractive guy with hair, but if a bald guy goes up to her and charms her, she will like him just as much, if not more. Moreover, lots of men bald young. Lots of great men have. Just ride it out as long as you can and then shave it, the focus on your body.
I once read that bald men can have higher testosterone counts, but I'm not sure if that's a rumor or not so I did some digging: I can't post the link but google this: "bald men can have higher testosterone counts" and you will find a link to a page by healthline dott com that goes deeply into this. I'd post the link, but I'm not allowed yet.
there is a treatment called dermarolling or something like that. It's worth a try, also you could try collagen supplements.
I think bald men are just more sensitive to testosterone converting into dht, but don't quote me on it.
Likely. It turns out it's quite complex as there are multiple forms of testosterone, or so it turns out.
I noticed hairloss when I was around 20 years old. Tried diffrent things like medicaments and stuff, it only had a significant effect on my money... Accept it, nothings worse than balding men trying hard not to look balding, i guess. My advice, in my humble opinine, start wearing your hair short. Start working out, go for this 6-pack, big arms. Stop focussing to hard on your hairloss, it only distrects you from your real goals.
Best thing I ever did was get my trusted barber to shave me down. Not bald, but really closely cropped. No more stupid comb over. I did that about the same time as I got serious about quitting PMO. Together, they allowed me to feel masculine, something I had rarely, if ever, experienced.
**Apologies for always writing an essay. I'll trim things down from now on** I know you guys are saying what you feel is best "Acceptance, man. Let nature take its course" and that's cool. My younger brother's gone bald and he said it was a great relief just to accept it - shave it down. Maturity, right? Stuff doesn't get to you like it did. Less superficial, bound by other people's opinions, etc. But there's some real stuff going on with the scalp affecting hair growth. Of the three male siblings in my family: My older brother's got a full head of hair with a nice, full hairline. Younger brother? It's gone man, it’s just gone. Me? My hair started shedding in my teens! You can imagine how that contributed to my pitiful state! Anyway, I tried Organic Root Stimulator....prayer (seriously!) I went to the doctor when young and didn't realize I had a calcified scalp (imagine shiny headed Patrick Stewart or any other bald public figure.) Doctor didn't help. Recently I've been (gently) scrubbing my scalp with an abrasive mixture and trying a mixture of (essential oils): Lavender Thyme Rosemary Cedarwood Grapeseed oil Maybe a couple other essential oils along with moving my occipital muscles to stimulate blood flow and fructose (fruits) which I read is implicated in hair formation (or something.) I know there's different causes of hair loss. Anecdotally I know that essential oil concoction can work because of my sister. Last year she suffered hair loss, a patch slightly larger than a 5p piece. She was distressed when I visited her; tears, time in the bathroom (presumably looking at the mirror) direct/indirect questions, fixation upon it. It’s real. What it can do to people is real. I mixed up that potion – said “Try it.” A lesson for all of us here; she took a good two weeks of the above (tears, anxiety, etc) before I just told her, “Look, man, try it. I can't listen to you anymore.” A good three weeks in and I could finally, truthfully tell her I saw something growing back in. She’s alright now. My result? Kinda ok. Stabilisation and maybe some growth. Are we allowed to use links here? If so, take a look at this: https://www.ergo-log.com/raspberry-ketone-skin-s-elasticity-stimulates-hair-growth.html
I noticed my hair starting to thin at around the age of 20. Though since I've been on hard mode nofap for the past month, I've definitely noticed less hair thinning. That's just my own subjective experience though. On the other hand, I'm sure there are men out there that have experienced increased hair loss/thinning when on nofap. I personally am a much calmer and composed person when on nofap, so I think that plays a role with a decrease in hair loss. The best advice I could give and which worked for me is to aim to become super fit and pack on some muscle. If you have a solid toned build (plus a great personality) women aren't going to give a shit about your hair. Having muscle and looking fit says a lot more about you as an individual than having a full head of perfect hair. I've seen obese men with full heads of hair, but what are the chances women are only going to look at their hair and see them as attractive... Also, it's ironic we are about to send people to colonize Mars, yet we still don't have a cure for hair loss. Go figure!
Going bald? Don't be! https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.p...an-rebooting-as-the-best-remedy.135983/page-6
When I think of all the stuff women have to go through, particularly with respect to their periods, carrying children in their bodies, and then dealing with the incredible changes their bodies experience, not to mention whatever hormonal things that occur, well, you guys get the idea. And if you've been married for more than a few years, you really get the picture. Moreover, my own wife had a bout with breast cancer. My point being our hair loss is pretty damn insignificant compared to that.
I think we can all admit that having hair looks good. If you like having hair and are losing it, there Is nothing wrong with looking for treatments to hair loss. It's not going to kill you to go bald, but just as having more muscle can make someone more confident, so can hair. Of course this shouldn't be what makes or breaks a man, but we can acknowledge that it's there, and maybe it matters more to some guys than others.
Some people look good bald, and others end up looking like aliens. Jeff Bezos leader of Amazon rocks the bald look good.
I too am starting to look like Kano from Mortal Kombat 1, the only alternative is the Trump comb over.
