The last post I made on this forum was, A very detailed journal. 120' days. Discussion in 'Success Stories' started by Sinfree, Dec 22, 2016 Almost 3 years has passed since I completed my first 120 days of Nofap. Today, I am here to briefly share my new outlook on life after 2 years of Monk Mode. First, let me say that my life has changed around 180 degrees before and after I started. It has been an incredible journey and I hope this post serves as a message for those of you who are willing to give up at some point. Today, time has passed to the point that time and day counters are irrelevant as I plan to completely stick with Nofap and semen retention for the rest of my life (excluding SO relationships). I have become a much more whole, confident, less anxious person in general. I feel like I have opened new doors in my life. I have become closer to God, my spirituality, my physical body and mental well being are all restored and immensely rewarded through this journey. I think that the nofap process isn't about getting girls, its about mastery in life. Whether you are a soccer player, gym enthusiast or a businessman, Nofap will be one of your core foundations helping you grow and push beyond your limits. I do want to share that this journey is not easy. That if you relapse, it is okay. But you should remember never to give up. When I first started nofap in April 2016, I relapsed every 2-3 days. You will need to learn self-discipline in order to succeed in reaching your first milestone. At first, I was a very insecure teenager who was shy in front of girls. 2 years later, not only am I NO LONGER shy (super confident and comfortable), I have personally moved onto bigger things in life. There is more to life than chasing girls! (Though this is surely different for everybody). If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment here. Good Luck Fapstronauts!
What did would you say, was when things started to change for you, like when did you receive the benefits?
I think I received benefits for the first 30 days and then after day 90. Boost in testosterone, confidence, energy spike, alpha qualities
Yes, before nofap, i had problems with pe but this is also because I used to smoke a lot of cigarettes which also causes pe. During nofap, i quit both porn and cigarettes so pe started to disappear soon or later!
Yes, before my life was focused on pleasure. Now my life revolves around construction, building myself and family, work, health, family and God. Yes before nofap I had a lot of social anxiety and I wasnt able to speak confidently before a group. Social circles incldued toxic relationships which I got out of during my nofap joureney
Thank uou! I want to add that day badges are no longer elevant now. After a good year you start to build around nofap and believe that you can do anything. You realize that you will never return to that place once you are out. Good luck in your jouney!
@Sinfree Congratulations on conquering PMO, Amazing success story! Can you tell me if you used any other tools/habits for personal development and self-discipline other than nofap?
Happy to read every single word you wrote.. though I have a question.. why did you choose monk mode ? you wrote that you want to do semen retention. do you pratice it ?
Hey thank you, I wish you a successful journey too! Yes. I think I tried everything - vitamin B, D, eating diets(keto, vegies, excluding milk, excluding flour), exercising, cold showers, waking up at 5 to read and jog, building and sticking to a solid schedule, quitting cigarettes and alcohol, swimming, soccer. Also, I quit SNS bc they had similar effects on me as porn!
At first, I did 120 days on easy mode. Though I received benefits I began to read on other successful people ( Steve Jobs, Napoleon hill) who all practiced semen retention in order to channel all of their life energy for their work, building a good life. Semen acts as a core tool and source of energy for men - it says it in the bible too that practicing abstinence is a source of blessing. I believe that a man gets his blessings through the ability to channel his energy. If you throw seeds on wasteland what fruits will you ever reap?
Totaly agree with you !!! but i don't think you answered my question, in order to do semen retention you need to practice it. after 2 years of monk mode correct me if i'm wrong but you didn't masturbate all of this time and a lot of sexual energy arise.. did you learn how to channel your sexual energy to your own benefit ? any thoughts about it will be mostly appriciated. or as monk hints it a lot of avoiding all things related to sexuality.
This is incredibly true! I guess many of us start this process of rebooting hoping to become a master on the art of getting girls. Once you take some steps on this journey of no-PMO, you begin to acknowledge that life is way more large than simply this. I'd say that entering reboot in order to gain some kind of external reward is recipe for countless failures.
Man i'm absolutely with you at first i thought the Nofap could lead me to have more girls but then i discover that it was way more than that. It is like a spiritual awakening and realise that there is so much more in life.
