How many times have you all relapsed before completing 90 days?

I had 14 days going and failed today. I’m gonna try and keep streak as long as possible
Just wondering if you guys failed it a couple of times before getting it, it would boost my confidence

Of course there will be some people who didn’t fail once and got 90 days on first try

I had failed multiple times..my biggest streak was 51 days, then relapesed..again 32 days, relapse lol, then 22 days, 8 days...then stoped nofap. And trapped in PMO completely for 8 months.
In these 8 months, tried to come out from porn, in between I did couple of small streaks like 2 or 4 days hahaha. Finally I lost confidence level.
Eventually, I don't know something strong hit my brain (that somthing is awesome) and got lots of confidence. Now my streak is 46 days..wow this time i will touch 90 days

Whatever the trigger fired, note them. Next time be conscious about that trigger.Every morning make a decision, whatever happend, you don't watch any lusty things. Count those attacks ;).be practice.

Yeah I’m gonna be more strict on myself

Just wish there was a way to block this stuff on iPhone for free

No need to block.. We have to block filth in our mind. Prepare like, if you are in between hot sexy girls still have to escape from that for your partner. Today everything is sextually attracting....

So many times I thought to throw my mobile...but finally realised there is nothing wrong with this moble but something wrong with my brain..finally I started journey to delete filth in my brain..

Exactly. I can't count the times I deleted my whole porn collection from my pc only to recover it and redownloading it hours later. It's the monster in your head that needs to be silenced. Good luck mate.

  13. Failed many many many times before getting 90, and many many many times after getting it. Alot of self deceit and vanity was uncovered each time.
I was having this conversation in another post, 90 days is almost like the barely making the grade number and alot of people think its the number thats going to justify them so they can go pmo again. It would be like getting a D- and pretending you aced the class just cause you passed. The only reason i state it like that is because the 3 month mark is sort of the minimum it takes for someone to say "ok im in remission now." Where most take it as a end all be all.
I've had failures past 90 days, at 100+ plus days and went back to binging for months on end before trying again.
I think the main point is, aim for progress, not streaks or some magic number. Only in consistant honesty with ourselves do we actually see real growth.

The guy who can't go more than 2 days but is down from a 4-5 times a day obsession is growing immensely more than a person who had a couple times a week habit but lies to himself that its ok to fap again because, well why not? "I just went 90 and i wasn't too bad to begin with."
1 person looks worse off but is seeing incredible changes and isn't lying to themselves
The other looks better off but is simply decieving himself/prolonging the habit because there is no real growth happening<<this person was already at a only few times a week habit.

Didn’t fail once I started NoFap, but before that . . . I fought for years with little progress.

When I joined NoFap, I went for 240 days without reset. Then I kept struggling for two years. Now I am finally at 180+ days again.

During my two-year struggle I relapsed 100-150 times I guess.

That's the thing that scares me, getting a good streak and then falling again like before.

  19. I found yourbrainonporn in 2012. Fighting for five years with relapses and streaks ever since. Until the withdrawals got to much and I ended up burning out. It is all or nothing at this stage for me now. I can’t function whilst being a pmo addict.

But your progress does not equal your streak. If you don't fap for 10 years and then binge, this doesn't mean you haven't made any progress. I think what is more important than your current streak is your average fap count, which is why I've been doing this relapse calender for a while now.
