Yeah, that's how I feel sometimes after less than 30. Thank you for this message, Its very motivational and I know I will keep doing it every day )
Day 10, great session this morning, little less than before but that is not important. I am more focused to do it daily than to do it longer.
Thanks, I see you are doing very good too. Good job mate. It's just, we need more people in this thread. I think that will help us to last and keep going. Also, there are some people who inspired me and I will feel so high if I inspire someone to do something good.
you are very correct.. We need more people in here......... I invited you to join this challenge again..... and it turns out that I benefited myself the most, because you are such an inspiration.... same goes to @Figs666 ....
Its great that you have been meditating before.. however we invite you to this thread just to help you build a habit of meditating daily and sharing your progress with others...... It would be great for both you and us....
Day 1: 11am Breath meditation 30mins went okay but drifted in thought / semi sleep, not ideal 2pm Breath meditation gave up 30mins into 1 hour session 3:30pm 10min bodyscan meditation for sleep, this is something I REALLY want to practice more 5:30pm Visualization on creating happiness and spaciousness using a spark of light and then sharing that light and happiness with someone else, I gave it to my mum, felt much less restless afterwards Need to continue to practice, and here's a nice quote for you all: “Be present, be patient, be gentle, be kind…everything else will take care of itself”
now that's the kind of people we need here.... Thank you for joining in here... and by the way 4 sessions of meditation in one day !! you really motivate us improve
Day 11 first part done great. Last night skipped but I don't feel bad about it. @im_broken welcome aboard
Day 2: 11:30am 30min breath meditation 2pm 1 hour breath meditation, lost in thought for the last 20 minutes, evaluations of past events too attractive 5:30pm 20 soft flowing focus practice moving from body area to area gently visualizing a light in those areas, paying attention to feeling, not trying too hard to visualize Resting awareness is a good practice too, just being with whatever grabs focus, mostly thoughts, but non-reactive
Great work @Mysteryball , LEGEND . Aim for 30 minute morning and 30 minutes evening . My practice is going stronger than every . You will realise the voice in your head isn't your voice . It comes from parents , teachers , coaches and general authority figures from your childhood . When you see this , you will be liberated from the conditioning and you will feel free . It's all good mate . But it's the consistence practice that makes the difference , you will notice you are more present throughout the day and not as caught up with the chatter of the mind . I am day 90 or 100 now , I stopped counting days because j will do this for the rest of my life . Another thing is when you cut out your addictions , say porn and fapping . And you practice meditation , what comes to the surface is the reasons you had this addictions in the first place . Usually rejection / approval issues . This is real warrior work . And this forum is full of WARRIORS NOT WANKERS . LOL
Thanks bro..that have definitely changed my approach towards meditation... and i'm really moved by your approach towards mediation.. I'll definitely try to improve my session and duration of those sessions.... and thanks for making us realize how great benefits of meditation are ........
Day 4: 2pm 10 minute bodyscan, some improvement in flow and detachment maybe Followed by relaxed 20 minute breath meditation, then i just drifted in semi-sleep thought for 30 mins, was lying down so... But i didnt mind the nap
