This is me, more often then not... especially when he leaves for work, kids are in bed and I'm alone with my thoughts... What songs do you listen to when you're sad about all of this and feel alone?
Some of the songs I listen to; sadness has no genre: Camila Cabello - Something's Gotta Give Camila Cabello - Consequences Tamia - Stranger In My House Christina Aguilera - Walk Away P!nk - Family Portrait P!nk - Just Give Me a Reason Eminem - Rock Bottom Mary J. Blige - No More Drama Backstreet Boys - Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely Lorde - A World Alone Bruno Mars - When I Was Your Man Hoobastank - The Reason
All very good choices. Here are some of my own: Kelly Clarkson - Cry (but I do prefer the Glee version myself) Evanescence - Missing Alex & Sierra - Little Do You Know Colbie Caillat - Try Katelyn Tarver - You Don't Know Beyonce - If I Were A Boy The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Face Down Halestorm - Familiar Taste of Poison Skillet - It's Not Me It's You More later if you'd like me to share more.
So I have two playlists "This is my everday existence" and "Will you ever feel this way about me" I'll post the second playlist because it's much shorter. "Will you ever feel this way about me" Fall For You - Secondhand Seranade Your Guardian Angel- The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Drunk Enough - Angels Fall Until Death Do Us Part - Alkaline Trio Undone - FFH Kelsey - Metro Station If I'm James Dean, You're Audrey Hepburn - Sleeping With Sirens (it's our wedding song) I'll Take You There - Sleeping With Sirens 2 Chord- Sleeping With Sirens The Reason- Hoobastank You - Candlebox Hollow Hearts Unite - Hawthorne Heights Bring You Back - Hawthorne Heights Hero/Heroine - Boys Like Girls Cold - Crossfade Savin me -Nickelback
Billy Holiday for me. I will listen to her for hours ( we the complete works) while distracting myself with house work or crafting.

When I can't stop thinking about stuff I turn the music up and clean. "Alexa, play Pandora 90s alternative at volume 8"
Hi, I met my now ex on Sisters of Mercy gig in Dublin in 2014. Long long story short. We become friends on Facebook and found many things in common aspecially taste in music .Both Goths in their 40's. I became fan of Sisters of Mercy, Joy Division, Bauhaus, The Cure etc.since I was 14 years old. I feel like he took everything from me even this beautiful songs. Sorry I'm very emotional right now. We are not together since June 2017 .He is in new relationship with another goth girl 5 years younger than me and 8 years younger than him.Recently I discovered he added her to the one of the fans group (he is addmin)of our favourite band . It was in May when we were still together and very soon after Dday. I feel like everything was taken from me. Even fucking music. Sorry , this post is chaotic .I'm very emotional and upset right now and my English is not my first language. Band and song I found after we broke up.
If I decide to clean then I listen to pop music or dance music. The singing and dancing with the broom make me laugh and feel less alone. I reserve the rock: Misfits, NIN, Rancid, Korn, etc. for scrubbing the bathroom. Sometimes a person needs an excuse to be able to scream. Songs that trigger sad tears: P!nk - So What! Cascada - Faded Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know Bruno Mars - When I Was Your Man Adele - All I Ask Amy Lee/Fiona Apple - Sally’s Song (from “Nightmare Before Christmas”) Songs that trigger happy tears: Death Cab for Cutie - I Will Follow You Into The Dark Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are Elvis Presley - Can’t Help Falling In Love Lana Del Rey - Once Upon a Dream (from “Maleficent”) **EDIT** (Just heard on Disney Pandora - have on low in kitten room) Amy Adams - That’s How You Know (from Enchanted)
