Hello all, I've recently started the rebooting process at the beginning of the year. While I wouldn't say I was a hardcore porn addict, I did fap nightly, but over the years casual porn wouldn't cut it for me anymore. I eventually moved on to other things...last one being transwoman porn. I recently started going to bars and chatting with women, I eventually managed to go back home with a girl but when it came time to perform I couldn't get it up. Looked up the symptoms and discovered PIED. So at the beginning of the year I stopped watching porn and masturbating. I'm just curious how long it will take to reboot my brain seeing as I only fapped once a night (granted it was for years.) Some info, I'm 28 years old, and I've started working out since December. I've not once looked at porn or fapped since the 1st of the year. I really want to get over this PIED before I start talking with women again.
PIED might sound like a big obstacle but it's not actually. Just abstain from PMO and your body will take care of the rest! Honestly you can't really tell how long it'll take for PIED condition to disappear. Some people will cure within a month or two while it can take like 6 to 8 months for some other people. It depends on you lifestyle and your body. What matters the most is that your body returns to its normal condition eventually. Working out(as you mentioned you've recently started), meditation, healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle will definitely boost the speed of healing process. Good luck!
I think you can speed up the progress by working out of lot. Lifting heavy weights raises testosterone. Also you should look into low carb high fat diets. Keep up the good work!
Is it supposed to be easy? I've had slight urges to watch some porn but nothing too major, I'm also curious what kinds food you all recommend? Edited for grammar reasons.
I'm on day 9. Have been so busy at work, I have not had time to surf porn. Anyway, I woke up with morning wood today. First time in a very long time. Just laid there and felt it (did not stroke) and appreciated it being there. I'd previously mentioned that I stopped getting hardons about a month ago, even when watching porn, and it really alarmed me.
I can get hard to porn. I was with an attractive woman and couldn't get hard. She did everything she could and I had to tell her about myproblems.
I could before yes, but like I said. After years of normal porn, I eventually lost interest and moved on to extreme porn such as transwoman.
I've heard that the re-wiring that a younger guy needs, can take longer than for an older guy. I am 62. We did not have instant porn like is available today. It was magazines, or pictures that my friends had.
