Thats exactly it. i have been masturbating since i was probably 16 and i am now 21 going on 22. i lost my virginity last year and it was not everything i hoped for. because during sex i could not feel anything downstairs. only when i would pull out and re-enter then i would feel some warmth. after that nothing. i would be getting blowjobs and still feel nothing. and it takes forever to orgasim if i do get to orgasim.
i was wondering if there is any hope for me in the future because i dont want to live like this.
did i do too much damage?
can i feel again with time if i abstain?
    thanks for your help guys.

    You can choose.

First I would recommend reading everything you can about porn addiction, PMO, rebooting, etc.

This site has some great information. Also check out yourbrainonporn.com and rebootnation.org.

The advice I've heard is to give yourself a good long break from everything. No porn, No masturbation, No orgasm, for at least 90 days, if not longer. It's called a reboot. You're rebooting your brain back to a pre-porn state.

I would recommend you choose the NO PMO track. It's going to be much, much better than what you're doing now.

    Best of luck to you!

Look, Just do your best to try to reset yourself, everything else will fall in place. You sound nervous. There is nothing we can do but go thru this process and hopefully our bodies and mind click back to a more normal healthy state. Dates and timeframes don't mean much. You will be cured when you are cured, 1, 2 or 3 months or 6 months or a year or more. Everyone is different. It sucks not just for you but everyone here has some type of problem. Your girlfriend is just thst a girlfriend. There are people here that are married and have kids and their wives want to leave them because they can't get it up. Imagine what divorce does to a family..etc. I just want for you to relax and think about other things than just SEX & Girldfriend. Do other things such as Church stiff, exercise, healthy eating, reading, nature walks, socialize with friends. Stay away frm PMO. Stay away from electronic devices. Reset completely. If when you are cured and she is still there then both of you can enjoy this together otherwise she will move on and you will eventually move on but will be a healthier individual. Dont be so anxious. Best of luck.

That seems like the perfect opportunity to reboot. But you need to commit to it and have a plan. This is not easy so you should take the appropriate steps to minimize the chance of relapse.

Personally, I would tell her. However, that is just my opinion.

    Absolutely tell her.

It's an addiction thing, not an attraction thing. It's not about her at all. It's about a dopamine rush.

I told my wife and she was very upset, but she calmed down, and now she's very supportive and helpful.

We're much closer, both physically and emotionally than we've been in a long time.

Did you use a condom? If so, apart from the PMO the condom probably be also a cause. If you feel the condom is tight or loose you can experience ED and Delayed Ejaculation.

Yes, I used lube only very rarely. And like justjack I couldn´t even come without condom, even when the sex was athletic/long.

The lack of lube reduced your sensitivity. Dry masturbating is the worse thing you can do to a dick.

If you're doing PMO, I don't think it really matters if it's dry/wet/lubed/limp/whatever.

You're doing it wrong and you're screwing up your brain.

I believe PMO is bad for a variety of reasons, but dry masturbating will additionally make you feel numb physically.
