Hello brothers, Music is an amazing phenomenon and sometimes a simple song can encapsulate a feeling or even you entire life. I'll start off by saying mine. I heavily relate to the song Hotel California by Eagles. I feel like this song represents my struggle with PMO. My interpretation of the song is as follows: at first the Hotel California (PMO) is very appealing and I stay there for a while, however when I decide to leave it won't let me and I'm trapped there. That's a pretty abstract interpretation of that song but I'll link it below and maybe you can find some other meaning to it.

I don't want to admit this but it is the most true. The song lyrics describe where I have gone through the depths of torment caused by self inflicted mistakes known as my "addiction" i.e. evil dragon as the theme of the song describes. I have not always been a victim of perpetual addiction to drugs, drink, and fapping but I have gone to the darkest places because of it. So no other song describes as accurately what the hell is going on with me than this sucker. This song represents my life. I will never give up or stop fighting. I've lived that life before but never again. Despite all of my addictions, problems, and the shit that's been done to me I've found tbat a life spent fighting has more hope and therefore more peace than the one where I give up on myself.
P.O.D. -Alive. Even though the interpretation of this song is a little out of my reach (for the time being) I believe that things get better no matter how bad the circumstances. I'm living proof by the way. Besides my porn addiction, I've endured many hardships both emotionally and physically throughout the years. But thanks to my family, friends, and people I that I trusted, I was able to overcome these challenges. Every time I listen to this song, it makes me realize why I'm "alive." Furthermore, it gives me hope to motivate and help others in times of need. I've realized that all this time, these painful and unbearable moments have made me a better and stronger person. As of now, I can use this motivation and experience to conquer the demons that I'm facing at this moment (and that includes my porn addition). It is possibly one my most difficult obstacles, but I know I will overcome this addiction and hopefully have a better understanding of life, being thankful for what I have, and most important of all, have appreciation to be alive.

Well on this forum it is kind of like this: The thing about life is it is a process of perpetual change, growth, and inevitably decay. Constant transformation. Wow that song is awesome, It's not my kind of genre of music but it has a catchy baseline and everything. What stuck out to me was the lyric at the start "And you're tired of the war that you rage" I think a lot of us could relate to that is one way or another. Blessed day brother
