friends i have done a great research on this topic i have completed so many long streaks so from my experience i found that tea and coffee or caffeine is responsible for urges if u dont take caffine u will not feel any strong ureges then u can reach ur goal to 90 days or even year but u have to do yoga or meditation regularly even if u dont have time just do it for five miniutes but do it this two combind methods avoiding tea and coffee and doing yoga will help u alot and u can stay away from uregs and panic attacks its not that hard friends i found it so easy to control my self now dont have to use internet filters sometimes i dont even think about this shit i love celibacy its naturally keep going so guys dont worry god is with u dont name it NoFap call it celibacy or brahmcharya god bless u all
Lol i don't even Drink coffe or tea but i Have Really hard urges each day ! I don't practice yoga but i do other sports like bodybuilding . If i remember , i read that hard urges are caused by eating a lot of proteins ! But the problem is that We need to eat much proteins to build muscles .. lol
This is pretty interesting, and I hope your right that the no caffeine helps. I've started as a new year goal to not drink soda, and I already don't drink coffee or tea so maybe I'll see some improvement.
Increased protein synthesis can equate to a higher sex drive but the main thing with lifting is the testosterone after going to the gym. I recommend doing meditation after a gym session for recovery and to stop urges
Ok thanks for the advice everyone ! Personally I don't recommand to stop tea because it really good for the human's health , also , recent researchers found that tea doesn't contain the same caffeine then the caffeine in the coffe. The caffeine in the tea is really good for our health and there is also some tea that doesn't affect our sleep ( just in example green tea and black tea ) ! I recommand to everyone interested to do more researchers about tea and our sleep !
Can relate to what you say about caffeine. Quitting caffeine makes it a lot easier. I still drink tea sometimes, but no coffee or coca cola.
Can relate to the yoga comment. That was the only that would help with strong urges. I would put watch a 20 minute youtube video on a yoga routine and follow it and the urges would be gone afterwards.
This is to some extent true in my case. On days I sip coffee I have random boners that don't go away easily. If I don't have any sort of caffeine I feel completely fine and have zero lustful thoughts. The thing is that I love having some during the morning. My mind is sharp af and I feel some pleasure from it, even though it's pure black and with a bit of stevia

Thats deff interesting, ive notice when i drink coffee in the morning it kinda gives me a buzzed feeling and then i have to drink water in order to regain normal feeling, but that whole process has given me urges in the past, i always thought i was just so addicted i wanted pmo in the morning, but i was suspicious of coffee.. thank you for your info, that might be a whole nother monster to take down cause i do love coffee lol
Sildenafil and caffeine work pretty much the same way. Key difference is the location of the receptors sildenafil works on.
i cant leave tea and coffee.....its like my only addiction other than pmo(which is getting cured) and yes yoga is much better than gym............yoga makes us strong internally and mentally
Nice tips brother. I will try to avoid tea and coffee. Green tea should be fine I think. A major problem is cola or soda too. Since it is cold now so no questions for that. With yoga and meditation starting it at a later age is a problem. I try to meditate using the normal methods but my mind gets distracted. But while I am working it seems to concentrate. Any tips for easy meditation ?
Honestly, when I first started Nofap last year, I resisted the urges. I was doing a number of other things that probably helped, but they were for the purpose of general self-improvement. I did find that what you eat influences your thought. And yes, caffeine is a major trigger. But, so are "cues". Like, if you normally pmo'd when you had the house to yourself, the urge will arise again(in the same situation) whilst on your streak, because the circumstances are favorable for old PMO habits. You can also press your prostate. That would've helped when I started because I had some serious blue ball action going. Great find. I never took the time to do meditation though. I know it's an old practice, but it seems too "New Age" for me. I have tried those audio files from YouTube. Even I know how significant the use of frequencies are.
Any idea how this idea relates to decaf coffee or tea? Do you think those ones are good since they don't have the caffeine? I have never thought about this concept but it makes a lot of sense! I don't drink coffee or tea a lot but looking back in recent momory I think most all of my relapses have happened on early mornings right as or after I has a coffee or tea. Genius man!
