Day 1 now, feeling good but first few days are the easiest. Good luck to everyone above and below me!
Failed on 1st day... This is harder than it seems. The fact that you wan't to brake out makes it that much harder.
Sorry Shamu didn't mean to suggest that the first days are actually easy. But i've been trying longer than I care to admit but those first few days are when you have all the will power of "I'm gonna do this, I'm in control". Its after that when your grip starts to go slack that are hard.
Day 3, did some things today : read text in german, articles in english, bought gifts for my sister's birthday and book about the function of knowledge, looks really interesting.
Same here! It's a slight replacement for porn but a lot better. 3 days complete, about to start a long weekend of house projects to keep me busy. Stay safe out there!
I'll start here at day zero. I'm technically on Day 25 now but since I'm new here, I'm happy to start this challenge from zero. All the best to everyone else.
Crazy urges today. Brain was telling me 'we are going to get some PMO today' but I've made it through the day. Onwards to day 7 tomorrow.
It's day 1 for me. So far doing very well, been quite easy. Hardest part of the day is yet to come (late at night) but I'll be keeping my phone away from me and reading a book. Hopefully that'll help me fall asleep quicker as well.
Day 2 complete! Got in a run today, and checked another book off my list. I'm going to hit my reading goal for this year...just one more to go! Planning ahead for ways to stay occupied and focused over the weekend. What's helped so far: rubber band on the wrist to snap if I start thinking down the wrong path - more representative of coming back to focus reducing time on the computer - if I don't have a specific task or goal, it gets shut so it's not tempting identifying new things to learn - channels my focus into something productive and positive, rather than just "no porn"
