We've got a lot in common. many people are metal heads only or edm only. Don't we miss Chester, though?
Yeah we definitely do have a lot of metal heads here. They're usually the ones who tend to be more prone to deep thinking and self awareness. That's probably why many of them want to quit PMO
Yeah! I've noticed most people prefer to stick to one genre, and I don't understand why! I'm not judging; I'm genuinely curious. And yeah, I do miss Chester. I loved his music because I could resonate with it.
I actually had read somewhere that one's preferred genre is correlated to one's personality! Metal and rock fans tend to be creative, so you're probably correct.
I wouldn't call myself a metal head and I don't like to keep myself under one genre; there's just too much good music to do that. I guess when I read the word band I think of rock/metal more than any other genres. I love all types of genres. Some of my favorite music is classical, Gregorian Chant, and other styles. Spoiler One of my favorites from Kenya
I think it has a lot to do with personal preference. I really do believe that personal preference is very structured and in a sense limited. Personally speaking I can't stand radio music, not because it's mainstream but because it genuinely sucks! If music falls outside our confined walls of preference, than we will not enjoy it. We tend to stick to one genre because the similarities within that specific genre is what keeps it within our preference. Now some people do listen to a variety of genres, however those genres as well have to flow within a specific set structure. Those who lean towards sad music can listen to either sad indie or sad rock. Those who prefer a more hyper vibe can listen to EDM or dubstep. The funny thing is our preferences are always evolving or changing.
Then you will probably really enjoy this: When I read or study I just stream this video. Hours of chant.
