I’ve finally started practicing piano since my reboot and I’m thinking about getting into drawing again. I was just wondering what are some hobbies you guys have picked up or refound your passion for since your reboot ? Just curious as to what everyones hobbies are
I started to have an interest towards electrical engineering, in my spare time I practise maths and hopefully I get back into education soon
Play Chess, bought a Keyboard, electrical engineering, RC Airplanes, Programming in Pascal, Java, HTMS/CSS, Reading
I have read more books in the last 69 days then I have in a few years easily. I feel like self help books have been a huge part of me not relapsing. I have this black and white mentality when it comes to noFap I have to hate porn and what it has done to me. Since I associate porn with a lot of negative things that happened in my life it is easier to stay away from it.
Reading for now, but I have plans to start playing my bass again. My dream is to play it in a band one day, and also sing!
Reading, cooking, figure/plush collector, animating/drawing and harmonica. I even took the library as a weekly hobby.
Well, for one, the מ and כ need to be in their sofit forms. You appear to have written gibberish. I can read and write with pretty reasonable competency I have started hitting the gym more. I have no time for other hobbies lately.
YASSSS MINIMALISM! Have you seen The Minimalists documentary, with Ryan Nicodemus and Joshua Fields Millburn? Their podcast is pretty great as well. As far as hobbies, I mostly like to watch TV and movies and write. Although I also really want to get into shooting, particularly archery. I did a little bit of archery back in the day, and I remember loving it and being pretty good at it. The instructor said I was a natural. I have a cheap bow and some arrows, but I need to clean up my back yard and set up a range so I can actually start shooting. And eventually, if I enjoy it enough, I'd like to get some better equipment for it.
I was going to the gym a lot for a while, but I stopped, because like you, I had no time for any other hobbies. Lol it was always "should I go write or go to the gym?" Gym always won, but I missed writing. So no more gym for me. I need to put together a good plan for working out at home instead.
Scheduling what you're gonna do for every day is the best thing. It was from a book i read about the laws of success.
I strongly disagree that that's objectively best. It might be best for some people, and might lead to more success in some areas. But it depends.
