I'm writing this literally minutes after this happened. So It's really late right now and I was just watching some Anime, chilling and about to head to sleep. My phone buzzes. A PSN message saying "hi". This is how It roughly went down because I deleted the texts. ("" from stranger) "hi" Hello? who is this? "I found you on the search thing on PSN and I'd like to meet new people" "how old are you?" Fair enough, I'm 19 if its importent "I'm 22 F" "cool, watcha doing?" Watching anime about to head to bed. "I wish I was in your bed and you can have your way with me" Woah that's weird. Are you sure you're a 22 F? "of course (some stuff about university/college)" (stuff about my college stuff, low key stuff) "I have an Idea for something that would be fun" Like what? "(tells me about a cam website and why she likes it)" Sorry I'm not into that "I'll give you a special pass for special people" I'm flattered but sorry it's a no "(more pressuring bullshit)" Sorry It's a no. I'm presuming you're American and I find it disgusting that you have to sell yourself to pay debts or make money "there is no money involved" So you sell yourself for free? "Of course babe" That's worse in my books. I'm sorry I won't comply to your followers of frustrated losers who come to you for an inch of acceptance [Sorry that is mean] "(more pressuring bullshit and how she likes meeting people using this)" Look I'm not going through with this. These people probably see you as body parts and don't see you for a person who wants to be respected. But hey some women love being worshipped "you wanna touch my body" I don't say this often... Fuck off I then proceed to blocking and deleting the chat. Has anyone else had a smiler thing? if so did I go over the top? If you had something like this, what did you say? Thanks for reading [edit] I did some research and it was a bot for sure. It uses the same messages for everyone. There are no trigger words, it uses the same messages word for word. Infact a friend of mine had the exact same thing happen to him which is bizarre and I told him it happened to me. And what do you know the same messages word for word what I got. Very weird scam. I even have an article confirming this. https://mic.com/articles/183416/pla...-live-have-a-porn-bot-spam-problem#.zU6dhoD7c
Never had that happen, but another route you could have taken was "do you know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior"? Sends them running.
It's a scam read it on a ps4 forum. They'll try to get you sign up to something. I think it's a bot as well, so not a real a person.
I have had this happen to me. I had it happen while on my xbox. A complete stranger messaged me. And I did the same thing you did, "who are you, how did we meet?" She didn't really invest time talking with me she went straight to the point after a few messages of the "Hi" stage. I did however have to keep saying no like you and eventually block her also. She kept going with it and gave me the link to the site despite saying no a bunch of times... Then I reported her. And if she goes to jail for soliciting thats her fault.
Watching anime huh? Were you playing with that silly dating simulator and letting loose Giffany again? You should know better than to play with sentient AI's. This is a Gravity Falls reference if you didn't understand...
Yea man that wasn't a real person you were talking to. It was nothing more than a simple computer program designed to trick you into becoming an even more severe porn addict.
I once talked to a girl on 7cups. She was nice, the conversation went well. It wasn't about sexual stuffs, about life struggles.
uhhh, means to confirm that you're talking to someone real and serious, it should have: a website and a topic. A Simple pop-up message say hi is usually a spam.
Sounds like a blackmail scam. You log on, do your thing, and they hack your camera and capture video of you masturbating then extort you for money. You did the right thing by blocking and deleting. Wouldn't trust that woman for any amount of money.
Once I thought those girls were real. But then I noticed that certain keywords in my message would prompt certain replies from "her". So then I would just type that keyword alone and hit send. They would reply with the usual message. Then I typed the same word again, they'd type the same reply again, lol. Once you realize you're dealing with a spambot, it's funny to see how automated their messages really are.
- So, Babe, you want to get down - "Refrigerator door cat on roof" - Babe, how could you say that? Why you being so mean - " Sorry refrigerator cat bark " - Ah, it's ok, Babe - - - - - - - - - - Babe, I'm not a bot. OMG, how could you say that? - - - Babe where are you? - " I'm here " - - I have to go now, Babe - " please don't go, please stick around just a little longer" - Babe -" I will kill myself if you leave" It's very sad but when bored I once had a long conversation with a bot. Is it possible to repulse a computer program or make them want to stop talking to you? I tried to find out. Maybe just scientific curiosity or maybe I stayed up way too late that night.
YES YES YES all the damn time i be getting messages form these robots looking to skimp you off of ur creit card by showing u a naked girl. Its been happening to my friends lately as well. Just know that theyre all robots and just block them like you mentioned.
