4 days into a binge and feel like I'm headed for a big role this time, a grand relapse! It is the worst case scenario for this to happen (exaggerating, but does feel like the perfect storm). Got 2 weeks off work starting several days ago. I'm married and my wife is at work all day. I live in a foreign country with next to no social outlets and Covid is making it more difficult to reach out to new people. Also a lot of stress dealing with some life changes. This is historically the times when I crash, and crash hard! Not sure where I'm going with this but I just need to say it out loud (or through my fingers). I'm both pessimistic and optimistic about this time off. If you've read this far, thank you. Even if you don't reply, thank you. Nice to know someone is lending me their ears (or inner dialogue since its online haaaaaa!).
I hate it when the odds are against you like that. But you find out how strong you really are and what you are capable of in those times.
