I will say, I am not really sold or interested in the larger nofap framework, but I do elect to go quite a while without masturbating at a time. The point is to get pent up, and this intensifies my experience when I do end up doing it (usually trying to save it for intercourse, every 2~ to 3~ weeks).

Today, I was 10 days in, and I did a silly thing I have a bad habit of doing. Of the times I mess up my streak via masturbation, it tends to be by basically fondling myself in 'admiration', since one of the main benefits I seek is it gives me superior erections that are noticably more impressive.

I actually do this a fair amount and I'm almost always able to resist it (I want to say I probably touch myself for 30~ minutes every day or every other day without orgasming, usually before bed, but I fall asleep before finishing ), but when it gets to the point I feel my libido and erectile function is peaking, it's just too sensitive and I more often than not end up orgasming by mistake.

When this happens, I tend to lose discipline and do it once or twice a day for a few days before getting back into a streak. The thing is, I've grown curious as too how much this would actually undo my progress in a physical sense if I just left it at the once and continued.

I mean, this site talks about relapse or reset pretty often but it's almost always like a psychological thing, but that's not really what I'm thinking of. In terms of making myself pent up and just generally regaining the sexual tension, do you think that an orgasm resets it completely, or what?

E.g. if I didn't do it again for, say, another 4-5 days, would I be getting back to 10 days worth of pent-up-ness, or am I going back to day 0? Sometimes I get the sense that going at it repeatedly is draining a sort of reserve, but I really can't tell.

Please provide me any insightful thoughts on the matter.

That's too bad, nofap makes a lot in sales! :p jk, I think must of us were doubters when we joined. That's how it works usually. fapping to pixel women and being a gooner cuck for marketers to manipulate is terrifically normalized in western cultures. and profitable(!!), I might add. If you thought "nofap is cool" from the start, their Billion$$$ in advertising and shoving sex content at us since before age 9 wouldnt be too effective. Fortunately for their wallets, it is.

This is your addict-brain wanting to know how you can con your way out of recovery. How can you cheat the rules? Surely, YOU are not addicted to PMO?! That's "everyone else" *shaking finger points across the room*

There's a word for what you are doing. It is called "edging" - it's a way to give yourself rushes of dopamine, the drug we are all addicted to most. Your addiction is trying to find loop holes and edge cases (no pun intended) so you can keep up the habit. It has nothing to do with orgasm - it has to do with dopamine (and also adrenaline).

Keep cheating your way through recovery, and you wont recover. It's that simple. You can spend these nights "admiring" your pp until youre an old, lonely, depressed little cuck. Or you can abstain from your addiction, build a life of sobriety, purpose, and have real sex with real people and honest, meaningful relationships with others. The choice is yours.
    This is was nofap "sells."
