You are not in control of the experience. There are beings in other dimensions that use people who take DMT for purposes of their own. They lure them back into hyperspace with synthetic states of ecstasy that resemble ultimate liberation. They use hocus pocus to make the traveller think they are expanding their consciousness. All in all they are harvesters of human energy and they have you under their control when you intake synthetic DMT. Machine elves if you will. Not good but also not purely malevolent. Don't do it. Just meditate intensely for the rest of your life.
