I like the nofap off-topic discussion forum like we can literally create any new topic and respond to other people. People don't hesitate to discuss everything since we have anonymity here. But this type of thing is not possible on twitter, where each and every post get's your account a step closure to ban, I don't know why few accounts can literally post all bullshit and non-sense and still not get banned, while simple people's post continuously gets blocked. Similar is the case on youtube comment section, every comment gets shadow banned, it's worse than twitter because here people think that they have posted a comment, but in reality it is not visible to anyone.

I think reddit can be another alternative, but there is too much PMO content on it. And even if we avoid that it's not a forum where you will definitely see same people again. I was active on nofap forum during lockdown, most of the accounts that were familiar to me have stopped posting. They are gone for good, I don't want them to ever return to PMO. I hope they have found purpose in their life and are living a healthy life. All these accounts used to post regularly and we all used to respond to each others post, motivating each other and all. But I don't think there is any motivation for people to visit same sub reddit again and again on reddit.

Believe it or not, filling your mind with random posts and just spending time on typing a post is way better than wasting time on PMO.
Is there any other place like this forum?

I'd think any other ancient forums with anonymous conversation were like this back 10+ years ago. I'd recommend you do a little digging and see if you can find one, cause I don't really know.

    I will look into them.

Obviously, I am not trying to escape reality but still sometimes you just want to talk to strangers. It's kind of fun to read others post and being able to respond to them, that too while being completely anonymous.

Threads is a zuckerberg app so the censorship is going to be far worse than on X. The only true free speech platform is 4chan.

Thanks dude, for me 4chan really meets all the criteria. The only thing is that there is some adult content but its easy to ignore just dont visit those parts of the site. And obviously there will be some downside to completely uncensored site. Its like reddit but without login.

I think we just need one breakthrough idea, that allows users to NOT create multiple accounting or atleast make it time consuming or unfeasable to create new accounts and yet remain anonymous. Just like blockchain and ideas about decentralised network existed from 1960's but just one new approach in bitcoin research paper in 2009 lead us to creation of the entire DeFi ecosystem, which people earlier failed to do again and again.
I know anonymous and unique accounts are possible today by email registration but companies usually dont follow their privacy rule. One day humans will definitely create a completely decentralised anonymous communication channel that impose some penalty on creating new accounts again and again, like we can lock 5 or 6 dollars, which they can only get back after a year, so limiting users from creating new accounts but since the network is decentralised the privacy of users wont be at risk.

I usually love your advice, but I've been having a problem recently. For example, I'm trying to learn a second language, but no one around me speaks it. That's why I've been trying to find forums where that sort of thing is possible. It sucks having to learn a language with no immersion.

You can do whatever you want. I’m not your dad. I only report what I know, and that is all P subs count as P, fantasy counts as P, your marriage (if you have one) is probably doomed, most everyone has to do hard mode, exercise is vital, P is just a bad coping mechanism for other problems, and social media is usually bad.

You can still use it, and I won’t be mad at you. Not that it would matter. Just don’t be surprised if it backfires. I treat this forum like social media, I get little dopamine hits from seeing my alerts, it’s probably not good for me.

Furthermore, it seems like you want to interact with social media in a different way than usual. If it’s for building language skills, I applaud that. Just monitor yourself, make sure you’re doing ok. If reset or urges cone, try backing off and see if that helps.

And btw Quora counts as social media and can also be porn.

yeah! already tried it. But there's something off about it, I don't exactly know why? but I just didn't feel right over there. But still it's one of the best site, almost all types of questions have already been answered there.

I look at quora a lot through Google search, but I never really browse it and I don’t have an account so I can keep it from being a p sub

damn! whoever recommended 4chan, that was the best suggestion ever.
I just watched a video on biggest find the flag event. Man! It just blows my mind how normal people can just come to together to achieve the impossible, something that even FBI or CIA won't be able to achieve. These are the results that you get if you allow people to just communicate without any censorship or any other type of restrictions.

No, you get the dark web if you do that, 4chan has restrictions of it's own which is why ppl have come with with 8chan. You also have telegram which has so little moderation that there are a bunch of torture rooms that anyone can browse.

Plus in the video you showed we see 4chan users basically shutting down another website simply because they disagree with their content and to do so necessitated no technical skills at all.

Yeah, an oversight from my side. Thanks for correcting that. I definitely don't want torture room type of things. Also, it's obvious that most people don't have technical skills, but what I admired was their will to come together for a single cause and even being able to execute it. I think atleast one or two such platforms should exists, who knows when governments loose their minds and started doing harmful things.
What I meant by no censorship was the things that Twitter or YouTube does, almost blocking all comments with even a single word against their narrative.

This is simply the misuse of power, completely blocking one side views. I once had my comment deleted from YouTube probably because I used words like money, fiat, gold, crypto etc. They don't even give a proper reason. Even school students can train a better sentiment analysis model than YouTube. If you can't train it, use one of the pre trained models from internet. That video was on 2008 economic collapse so obviously I will use terms like that.

On one side they block real comments, and on other side there are thousands of bots commenting in YouTube which easily bypass YouTube filter. They also removed dislike button so people can't even show there disapproval for video, number of likes can be easily manipulated by just using bot accounts, dislike was a important parameter. Then, there is shadow baning.

I am against this type of horrible censorship. This is not only happening on YouTube, like on Twitter most of the comments and posts about developed countries are filtered, even your account can get banned. But when these same people post about developing countries, literally making all kinds of jokes, people even take images which are decades old to just slam the reputation of these countries, Twitter does nothing.

Either do censorship from all sides, completely blocking communication or don't block even a single point of view.
