Old self as of today

I was a boy (20s,early 30s) that lived in a basement, stuck in the confines of a big square concrete room separated from public spaces, my life was all about winning and being the best in a video game and I could not keep my eyes off the beauty of a young naked woman, that was the end of my long gaming sessions to be repeated almost daily before/after work.

I was lost,angry and in so much pain, had no understanding why I could feel the way I did, then the mind altering substances started and things got horribly out of control, I felt low all the time and wanted change with no confidence at all, I knew I had to start growing up, thanks to the many fatherly figures put in my path GOD I have broke free from many addictions of youth and have a sense of discipline.
I moved away from that basement and have become a healthier adult, seeking healthy relationships, I look forward to what tomorrow will bring, I should always trust God and live according to his word. Amen
