Hello muslims and non muslims brothers, I just wanted to share my experience of nofap during the month of ramadan fasting. It appears that it became very easy for me to stay away from that stuff for several reasons: 1 Fasting reduces sexual urges drastically, there is less, if not 0, desire to waste ressources from the body. 2 As a muslim, fapping during ramadan wd be equal to breaking my fast for no valuable reason, and it would result in a 2 month fast expiation, so no ty x) And i guess thats all for now, if u wanna share ur experience bellow, if u practiced intermittent fasting for example or if u are doing ramadan, it would be interesting to read and share. thats a cool tip about fasting. im going to try that. @wannabe better maybe dont do hard mode right away? at least for me, allowing some MO has helped keep away from P. but its different from everyone. if youve stayed away from P for 8 days though thats actually really good.
Happens i ve relapsed countless times before As i see it in my pov of muslim its a small sin during the unholy month, my reasoning is: am not married and can be tempted everyday with women, so better do a small sin to reduce the urge than going into fornication/adultery But fapping during ramadan is something else becuz it breaks the fast intentionally, and as a muslim this is some major sin, and thats the only reason i am having my longest streak ever, faith. I cant transgress ramadan month, faith is stronger than temptation for me, during this month, and i hope i can keep it up after ramadan. Appart from religion, u need to go step by step, u wont be able to stop in a one treat (for the majority of people), set goals, as said @cleaningupmyact try to fap without prn to begin with. Also ask yourself why u wanna stop it, and write it down and read it daily to remind you and reboost ur mental everyday. Avoid temptation, dont look at hot stuff thinking u can handle the urge. And finally dont despair if u relapse, relapsing isnt a failure, giving up is a failure.
