Masturbation the Problem Not just Porns

Completely agree. Masturbation without porn is just replaying old porn in your mind and keeping it alive. The only way to kill it is to starve it mentally, and physically with no MO.

 

Believe me when I say that I envy you. I'm not as strict when it comes to masturbation as some are on this forum, but I have had my fair share of soreness and friction burns over the years due to excess. Suffice to say, I'm still at the beginning of my journey, so I have a long way to go before the compulsive desire to masturbate subsides.

The longest I've ever gone without masturbating since discovering porn was 35 days. However, I relapsed following a disappointment in life. I now understand that acting out sexually was a way of dealing with pain by trying to numb myself.

 

Haven't masturbated like in since i joined nofap...so it's been a couple of months or more. It does make me feel more at ease with myself. I get a little itchy when i look at my body in the mirror but then I do like being clean and that takes away the urge to PMO...
