I'm New Here, Reboot Advice Needed

    Hello I'm new! I'm only 15 which may seem bad but I have been masturbating about once a day for 1.5 years. I have noticed I ejaculate very early ranging from 2-4 minutes and I have heard a reboot can help. I would like to know if it's ok to have 1 session a week without porn. I really need something to look forward to because 90 days is a long time and It's gonna be hard to wait that long. Given what I have said, how long would an estimated reboot with a weekly session take?

    Welcome Henry, I'm glad you're here. And I'm glad, for you, you're addressing this problem so early. That's a great move on your part.

    As to your question about "one session a week," I can't really answer that. Personally, I think that's a bad idea, but I'm not you. I think if you read more on the site, particularly about rebooting, you may see reasons why doing that will set you back, not help you recover.
     
  3. I'm glad you're tackling this problem now rather than at 25 or 35 or even 65.

    As to your question about masturbating once a week, maybe what you could do is set your minimum goal to be 1 week. If you get to that point and can't hold out any longer and masturbate, then congratulate yourself on your success and see if you can extend that time. if you get to 7 days and found it was pretty easy, then I challenge you to double it. Keep on doing that, celebrating each victory you have.

    I see wisdom in Septimus' and PF Doc's suggestions. I would suggest you start with 7 days. From there, see how you feel - do some analysis. Then set your next goal.

    Thanks for the support everyone! I like the idea of doubling my break each time, (For example, 1 week then 2 weeks and so on) until I get to 90. I started last Wednesday so I have been on for a little over a week but it's gotten to the point where it isn't that hard anymore to abstain so I might just keep going. I'll try and keep y'all posted on the progress.
