Ok, yesterday I fell into the porn trap... (after a pretty good streak, damn) But thanks to this discussion I consciously 'ended it'. I think it was the right descission because at lease then I was over with it in a timely manner
I don't expect you not to get horny. What I do expect is that if you're trying to reboot, you'll resist the temptation to jerk off when you do get horny. If you go through life acting like you have no control over your sexual impulses--if you see two naked women on the beach and make excuses about why it forces you to masturbate--then you're going to have a very hard time rebooting.
totally agree. Not that PMO is a great solution but rather just get it out than let is fester. Edging is still wiring the brain for self-sex stimulation.
I was out with my grandkids last weekend at a trampoline place. I am 67 to,two young moms about 35 or so came to the table I was sitting at drinking a cup of coffee. The asked if they could share the table. I said sure no problem. They sure were fine looking. I did my best not to lear. I still have them on my mind, but even though I didn't have sex with my Lady over the weekend I have been able to avoid porn and MO. In the past I would have most likely come home and MO by now.
Scientist Gary Wilson said: Some men attempting the rebooting process believe that as long as they avoid ejaculation, they are successfully rebooting. This twisted logic leads them to endorse an unhelpful practice common to Internet porn users, called edging. This is masturbating up to the edge of orgasm, then stopping to cool things down, then revving up again. Hey guy I'm new in this too. How difficult can it be???? I struggle frequently. Trying not to go home & have the urge to mo. I work evenings & my family is in bed now I have to reroute my thoughts. Cuz mo is like a drug to me makes me feel euphoric like being on a high!!!! I need a good support system.
