Spoiler WARNING , I may disclose some ways for Xiaomi/Android users to bypass blockers , read further at your own caution, i need help from people who know how to block this.

Please guys don't ignore this, please help me, Thankyou

I'm using Poco F1 I used blockers to block distracting stuff on my phone but I discovered two things which are a major bypass and it has made me stressed, i need help from people who are using Xiaomi devices on MIUI, please help me

    (AGAIN SPOILER WARNING )
    I found two things

    1. Security App which allows me to create a Second Space , which virtually creates a copy of my phone , like I'm using two devices on one phone and the second space has everything unlocked.

    2. Ultra battery saver mode which kills all the apps basically making every blocker useless ( except App Lock )

Any Xiaomi Users who have tackled this problem please please help me

  2. Stop self-sabotaging yourself. That's the answer to your question.

Try and make a conscious effort in order to quit porn. You know how to do it.
Keep using blockers. I strongly recommend Detoxify - works great on my Redmi Note 10.

Sorry sir, but it's my first time rebooting and i was severely addicted, if i could have a blocker without bypass, it would have been a great help, do security app and battery saver do not bypass detoxify ? Thanks for replying

  4. You don't have to be sorry, mate. We're all trying to get out of our own "rabbit holes" here.
We're here to help - as long as we can.

There's no blocker without bypasses (as long as I know).
You've got to stick to your aims.

Andoff (in combination with rethinkDNS) is the best app I've found to restrict app usage on android.
Any change to the device will only take effect after a set delay has passed, or if cancelled the changes will not take effect, allowing you to have time to think if its a good idea to allow or not. RethinkDNS you can use cleanbrowsing dns to filter out content plus the firewall allows you to block individual sites. Then you can lock the app with Andoff so you cant change the settings.
For more info check out this other post, otherwise let me know if you have any questions I may be able to help. It takes a bit of time to setup properly. Check out posts by sinner76 under android blockers.

DNS can help. Also if you multi layer it.
(Have to unlock this, then this, then this) Hopefully your mind will bore you out of the "urge".
DNS, restrict website access to images and videos, uninstall uncooperative apps, use add ons that restrict javascript, child-safe lock.

If you are using a VM or whatever, you need to delete it and get a high quality website blocker that locks you out of task manager, cannot be overridden by the command line and locks down your computer whenever you attempt to deactivate the blocker. I use cold turkey and it does all these things. Additionally, you can go on to github learn certain command line commands and download porn blocker software that works directly through etc/hosts or whatever to block access further down the pipeline such that you cannot override it and the code that was downloaded has been locked by the code's creator themselves. I'm a tech guy and it works well. You need to uninstall virtualbox or whatever it is you are using to justify SUBCONSIOUSLY DESTROYING YOURSELF and block all the sites that allow you to download it after deleting it completely with a custom uninstall software like revo uninstall. From there, you need to get android developer kit, go into the command line, and delete the playstore and all browsers and social media from your phone. Without the playstore (and this is something you must do manually as it comes built in with the purchased phone) you cannot download the apps that allow you to access the trash that is creating a life you hate. From there, you need to block ALL SEARCH ENGINE WEBSITES excluding maybe two or so. I literally have blocked every search engine - the chinese ones, korean ones, russian ones, etc..., all of them. I only have one search engine on my computer - kidzsearch.com The websites I know I need, like stackexchange, learning platforms, etcs. I can access directly. Beyond that, THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THAT A LOT OF THE SITES YOU GO TO ARE IRREVELEVANT AND NOT NEEDED.

If you really want the life you feel like you desire but you do not have... if this is something you GENUAINELY WANT AND YOU ARE NOT LYING TO YOURSELF, then you will do whatever it takes. In the process, after removing X, Y and Z from your life, you'll look back and realize how empty and unbeneficial all that crap was in the first place (wasting time on youtube suffering under an 'illusion of learning,' doom scrolling and feeding your own insecurities via social media, etc.

trying_to_be_better, this is a challenge to man up in the fullest of your capacity. You are a winner waiting to happen, not a loser. Apply the necessary steps to make that happen. You've got this!

    Blessings and encouragement,
    Mike

Dunno if this helps mate but detoxify was a very good blocker I struggled to get round when i was on android, works as a vpn and on various other levels to block sites. And you can set it up so you have to ask for your code from the company, which takes 2 days to turn it off.

    hi
I have the same problem as you. I found that BlockerHero can block Ultra Battery Saver, but only on the old version of Android. I contacted the developers and emphasized the need to upgrade BlockerHero to block Ultra Battery Saver. They promised to do so, but I'm still waiting for the new update to come out.
in the meantime, have you found a solution to the Ultra Battery Saver problem ?

Update on my previous post: I had to harden my settings, soft blocking with DNS doesn't work, there is always a way around it.
I've never tried the app you mentioned so I can't offer any advice on that, though I can share what has worked for me.
Just download Andoff and lock all browser, social media, apps that may be a problem. I only allow email, calls, etc. Basically make your Android into a dumb phone, with a little more capability (no media consumption). How Andoff works is you make the app the device owner, this way it is impossible to change the settings until a timer that you set has expired (mine is three hours). Having a timer makes it a drag to wait so most of the time its not even worth changing the settings. This breaks the habit of reflexively checking your phone, and reduces the amount of wasted time spent on the phone. These weak blockers don't work if its possible to just toggle it off, they are pointless and not effective.

Our problem is that on Xiaomi phones, the ultra battery saver kills all applications and they become meaningless. And we cannot block this ultra battery saver in any known way. Can you tell me if on your phone, the ultra battery saver kills the Andoff app or it still works ?

This may not be the write answer, but you may need a different phone. If you don't absolutely need google maps, etc. try a flip phone for thirty days and see what you actually require. I just discovered that google is more invasive regarding android phones than I already thought. I found a way that I can now potentially access P and so I'm having to back into the android developer kit and make even more adjustments through the phone OS. I did one more thing as well. I unfortunately saw porn for a few seconds a couple of days ago, as this sometimes happens as a result of my finding ways to secure my devices even more. I of course closed it out, but as a result, I discovered another 'loop hole,' and made adjustments accordingly. That adjustment involved downgrading the amount of hotspot data I have and literally burning through all of it in the first 2 days of my renewed month's service plan. All that to say, there is a lot of work involved in this process. Tech is everywhere and beyond that, the monster behind porn distribution is insidious and technologically fluent.

Most of what I mention below has the possibility of bricking your phone, so try at your own risk.
I'm on Google Pixel Android 14, using a custom ROM. There is only a normal power saving mode there isn't the ultra-power saving mode. Not sure if there is a solution without unlocking the bootloader, wiping the phone and downloading a custom ROM like LineageOS, or GrapheneOS. Without tinkering with the phone myself its hard to tell if there is a direct solution. I can think of three things you could try, without flashing a ROM.
    1. Like @AgileMyk suggested you can download adb (on your computer), plug in your phone and try to find the powersaving service and disable it using adb commands (this may require root)
    2. You could download Andoff and see if you can disable the power saving feature, since the app is the device owner this feature may be disabled by default.
    3. (This is where you can brick your device) You can root your device to get higher level privilege search around in the file system and try to locate the file which allows the power saving mode. I imagine there would be information online about this.
