Bots

The links they post go to a weird porn site. Some accounts that are no longer active have been hacked and are posting them. Of course, there's the possibility that old members have gone back to looking at porn and have come back here to post porn links but I think that's unlikely.

 

Its pretty funny too since they closed new accounts (again). Seems the problem can't even be fixed.

Why closed borders?

 

There are excess bots here? Oh boy.

 

I only see them sporadically. like once in 6 weeks or so. It's clear if you look at the accounts that they're old accounts that've been compromised. Kind of awful that there are people out there that are willing to abuse the circumstance like that. I suppose hackers aren't known for their ethics, and it's far from unheard of for people to go to addiction recovery groups to sell to the afflicted. Still so awful to think about.

 

if you check members it will tell you how many bots are active dont know how that correlates to any malicious intervening on the site though
