I’ve found myself being more lazy recently. In my battle with porn addiction I’ve found myself turning to different outlets to get a dopamine rush. I’ve been falling behind in my course work and have pretty much stopped going to the gym. What are some strategies to help me get on a consistent schedule of using my days productively? I’d like to hear what’s worked for people in a similar situation as myself.

What’s helped me was imagining the best version of myself and that was being more productive, not procrastinating, sacrificing to reach the goal, and keep moving forward.

I don't mean this to sound simplistic or dismissive, but the most effective way to get on a consistent schedule is to create one.

To that end, this clip from Jordan Peterson is invaluable.

Along with a consistent schedule is having built-in routines. I have a schedule each day, but embedded in each schedule, I have a morning routine, a mid-day routine, and an evening routine. Random things that pop up during the day can be placed wherever there's room, but I really try and bracket my day with those activities I see value in doing over and over.

I think that blocking out my days and sticking to a consistent schedule will definitely be helpful.

This is just a period, and things will get better. One strategy that's helped me is to do more of what I enjoy. Personally, I plan to focus on activities like visiting museums, spending time in the park, or attending events. That's why it's necessary to contact turtle bay exploration park customer service. These things give me a sense of purpose and fulfillment, which helps me stay motivated and productive.

Drop any activity that gives you bad dopamine, like social media, junk food, gaming, browsing, etc.
