Respect, man. It took me some time to use my bike in winter. It was snowing a bit. But it was a once-in-a-life-time events this year. But that was something for me. You live close to some routes not congested with cars?

@Don80 I have a gravel bike (A race bicle that works well in gravel tracks), so I can do external tracks. There is much traffick here but I try to avoid it with doing the secondary roads I said.

I have a trekking bike. I removed everything that wasn't necessary from it. I used to short dinstances - usually 10-15 km. It took me about an hour to do it. It was a loop. But I cycle mainly in the summer.

I also have an easy access to some country roads where I pass few cars. That's the benefit of living in a small town.
