Yea just leaving the room that you are in to walk can be great! Walking is really underrated in America. Most cities and towns and not even set up to walk. You get in a car and drive from one place to another. But just a short walk around the block is such a natural thing to do. When I get a strong urge, I do something else. Focus on my work, go cook something, work out a bit, start a new project. If I can't think of anything specific, then I walk. It is always great.
If you really don't want to go anywhere, try doing as many push-ups as you can. You will release a lot of energy, and feel revitalized.
I've just started myself. I found that even though I didn't PMO yesterday I was still in my exact routine. Go home, turn on A/C, hop on computer, check my games - like clash of clans -, PMO then go to bed. When it was my usual routine time for PMO I just shut my computer and I did something odd. I changed to the other side of my bed. This change in my routine, even as simple as just sleeping on the other side of my bed, helped me GREATLY. It made me feel like I had taken a step in the right direction. I cannot offer you a change to make, but for me something so little helped me a LOT. I recommend you try shaking things up, create new rituals and new patterns of life. It just may help you too!
Whatever you do, be sure to start moving. Leave where you are at, get around people. Do not watch TV, go on internet or stare at the ceiling.
