Being the cool dad

I think trying to be the cool dad wearing blue jeans and sneakers is kind of fake.

If I were a dad, I would be the traditional dad wearing slacks, sweater and proper brown leather shoes.

I would not try to be hip by drinking the trendy craft beers. I would drink the traditional cocktails like the Rob Roy and martini.

I would also wear the old style after shave colognes and not the hip new ones.

When I go out to dinner, instead of wearing a hoodie like the cool dad, I will wear a button tweed jacket.

I refuse to be the cool dad.

 

Why not just be you instead of dressing a part?

 

If I would be a dad I would make sure my baby's jacket matches my shoes.

 

A baby is the best accessory.

You are just as "fake" as the "cool" dad. Stop putting so much emphasis on money and your image. You, if anyone, seems to be the fake person.
