Before I started this journey to recovery I did some research about how porn was bad for the brain. I'm not 100% sure on any of this so please don't quote me on these things. From what I've heard porn use leads to some weird fetishes just in order to get a boner. From the first day I started using porn a year and a half ago, I have had a facesitting/Foot/Femdom fetish. I pretty much exclusively watched these videos and fantasized about it all the time. I'm wondering if a reboot will lead me to not like these things anymore. I'm also wondering if I accidentally fantasize about these things it will ruin my progress. Anyone who has an opinion feel free to leave a reply.

Yes indeed. Porn escalation in search of retaining excitement level is a thing that regularly happens. Watch enough of anything and it will beome boring and predictable. The continual porn viewer will find his interests wandering to porn he found previously uninteresting, or possibly disgusting.

"wondering if a reboot will lead me to not like these things anymore"

    Yes, entirely possible.

"wondering if I accidentally fantasize about these things it will ruin my progress"

It will hinder progress, yes. Porn pathways in your brain remain active via porn viewing, fantasy porn in your mind, ogling and objectification.

One thing to help you out, mate. You use the word "accidentally". There are no accidents. We are all completely aware of what we are doing when we are doing it. Don't give yourself a pass and consider anything "accidental". Stay aware. Stay alert. Be ever vigilant of your thoughts.

Porn is merely the tool of our enemy. Our true enemy in addiction is always ourselves.

    Cheers, mate. Best to you.

This is kind of tricky to answer. While it is true that porn addiction can lead one to find more and more extreme content as they become desensitized to the current preferred genre, it can't be blamed for every and all desires or preferences. From what you have described, it seems you may be submissive when it comes to sex, which is fine. Fetishes have existed far longer than computers and tv, they can be a natural part of life. The point of Nofap, as far as I can tell, is not to strip you of your sexual identity, but to help you recover from porn addiction itself. If the things you mentioned are things you truly enjoy, there is no reason you shouldn't enjoy them after your reboot, but only do so with someone else, not viciously through a screen. The goal here is healthy sexuality with a real partner, preferably one you truely connect with. Just my two cents.
