Don't think of it as a let down. I like to think of PMO dreams as the brain healing itself. It's obviously happening naturally so try not to think into it to much and be happy your brain is flushing out PMO! Best wishes.

 

why would that let you down? let that dream serve as a reminder and a "second chance"

 

I had a bit of a pornographic dream a few nights ago. Keep in mind that there is literally nothing you can do to control dreams. If there was, people with PTSD wouldn't wake up in the night from nightmares. I think it's the dopamine-addicted brain kind of letting you know it's missing PMO'ing and it wants it. It doesn't mean you have to give in. I think it's healthy sign that you are actively recovering.

If you continue to get odd dreams, try to avoid certain things before going to bed (like caffeine, alcohol, etc.) and maintain bedtime rituals (like going to bed at the same time, maintaining a similar ambient temperature, reading, meditating, etc.)

I had a few of these dreams early in my reboot. I too felt ashamed and weird afterward. But I agree that it is natural and it's your brain healing. I am happy to say that they never led me to PMOing. I understand now that they are nothing to get upset over.
