I had a good streak going for a while but I got my first smartphone a few months ago. Now that seems to be a problem for me, but I can't seem to find a clear winner for a porn blocker. Suggestions?
I personally have considered totally cutting off all internet connection via cell phone. If your eye offend thee, pluck it out. Yes, huge sacrifice, but could save your life. This would mean downgrading your phone. Is that crazy?
That interesting since I had a flip phone as recently as a few months ago. I am tempted to jump fully on board with this, but I would still like to know about a porn blocker for the phone. I feel I just need the porn blocker to serve as a slight obstacle and a reminder. When I am deciding to fight urges, I am generally very good about fighting them. However, many times I don't even try, which is why I haven't overcome this addiction yet.
Wish I knew one. Wish the cell-phone companies would allow more blocking options in their settings menu, then we wouldn't have to find an app that did more or less what we want. Let me know if you have any luck, I've seen another brother on here wondering the same thing.
Android app "Safe Browser" is an Internet surfing tool that blocks all porn websites and porn-related searches while serving all other functions of an Internet explorer. There are quite a few downsides to this app, I've noticed: Everytime you exit out of the app and then re-enter, it refreshes and sends you back to your homepage. Massively inconvenient when you have to exit out of the app just for a few seconds and then come back. It's up to you, but I never found any Porn Blockers that worked properly with Google Chrome on my Android 4s. Best of luck. P.S. I know Google Chrome has a website blocker for computers (I installed it for free; works like a dream!) but I'm not sure if they do the same service for mobile smartphones. Let me know if you find something.
I heard of a site blocker called covenant eyes. I have never looked it up and it may be down altogether but it's worth looking into.
android apps just block websites, but new apps can be installed that allow access. or u can have two broswers, one is blocking it. need an ANTI VIRUS APP that has PARENT FILTERING.
