Guys, i know this is out of topic,
But i realised ive been spending waaaay too much time on this website.
Like literally around 7 hours today.
And that is a LOT for me, coz i have loads of stuff to do and i dont like wasting so much time.
Im not saying this site is a waste of time, its absolutely amazing here, but still.

Have any of you all considered that we spend too much time thinking of NOT FAPPING, rather than doing the stuff we want to do?

    Secondly,
Do you guys think that from trying to quit PMO addiction, we have jumped to Internet Addiction?

Plus, all this amount of time we put staring at our phone/computer screens is sure to give us eyesight problems, as if most of us dont already have them, eh? :D

Cmon, most of us here wear glasses or contact lenses dont we?

Think about it guys. Tell me what you think.

  2. Yeah, I think 7 hours is a bit too much. But for me personally, I find it helps to visit NoFap regularly, it's sort of a reminder to stay clean.

My eyes are perfectly fine thanksfully, lol.

Yea visiting NoFap regularly helps me too. But im just worried this will become an addiction of its own.
Probably not if the internet is used in moderation huh? :)

It's a way better addiction than PMO. But definitely limit your time online in general if you can. I find I'm forced to do this if I turn off ALL electronic devices. Then I tell myself, I'm going to do something non-electronic for at least 2 hours. Then stick to it.

Your totally right. Most of the day im on nofap via my phone. My job does require me to wait a while and I spend this time on Nofap.
Same for when I get home.
My phone bills getting a little out of hand.
Even right now.I woke up in the middle of the night for some odd reason and I'm here instead of going back to sleep and my eyes are becoming pretty bad.

This isn't good.Replacing pmo with this Internet addiction is the worst thing that we could do.It only takes A little trigger and we relapse simce we're already on the Internet. The 4 second rule or similar methods won't protect us from pmo because we are already engaged in the act and all that needs to be done for us to relapse is click new tab :/

I would suggest that we implement ICDMatrix's idea of moderating computer usage. Slowly bringing it down. Start with browsing this site after every 2 hours slowly winding up the usage.

I went on a 16 day streak recently (which is huge for a new guy like me) and I believe that the secret was simply "not thinking about it" . I didn't think about P , didn't think about not thinking about P and I didn't even visit this forum for a while ! that was really effective and I had so much time to do my other stuff .
I have an Internet addiction too. I waste so many hours just googling things , on facebook , youtube and this forum . I need to get rid of this addiction too ...
We have many wars my friend , not just one .

internet addiction is the next "construction site" - after overcoming the pornaddiction entirely.

i used facebook very often. 12 months ago i deleted my facebook account. a very good decision.

nowadays the internet is a part of our lifes - i think removing it completely is not possible.

nofap has another function - it is like a "protective mechanism" against porn watching. i think it is "healthier" reading posts here as watching porn.

internet addiction is a big problem in general.
pornaddiction is also a part of the internet addiction. the internet was my major source for porn.
