You can call me P. I'm 30 and a relatively successful person considering I have a beautiful wife and a beautiful daughter, and an amazing job that might not pay the best but it allows me flexibility and lots of creativity (art director / photographer for a publishing company). I'm here because over the past few years I kind lost sight of any moral values and ended up "interacting" with a couple of women outside of my marriage. I realized that this was one of the sad results of being caught in the porn trap - something I struggled with on and off since my late teen years. I have since come clean to my wife of my indiscretions and greatly reduced my porn viewing habits almost to nothing. But that's not good enough! I'm on here as means to challenge myself to ultimately quit the porn / masturbation cycle. I totally understand some might not agree, but I feel that any viewing of pornography is a form of unfaithfulness to my wife - and she's too amazing to lose over such a selfish habit! So I hope to connect with any dudes around my age who have had a similar experience or similar views. --- Now that I've cleared that up. General stuff about me: I am a musician (guitarist and vocalist)and I looooove music. Notably: new wave / new romantic / goth / shoegaze / punk / post-punk / free jazz / experimental / classical I am an art director / graphic designer / illustrator / photographer My wife is an interior decorator and my 5 year old daughter is basically the most rad human being on the planet. Can't wait to learn about others in this community!
Hey Man, Welcome and good luck! I am definitely motivated by similar thoughts. I have an amazing life, fulfilling job (of course with it's share of issues), wife I love, two healthy and fun kids... I really just want to make the most out of the time I spend with family and friends. And stop wasting so much time on PMO. I'm 11 days in now.
