Iv read there is a strong connection between the brain and stomach, including majority of serotonin is in the stomach. The guy at gnc said it helps prevent from getting sick. So I figured having a healthy balanced gut will improve my health in other areas.
I am trying intermittent fasting for the next 2 weeks. From what I understand, in a 24hr period you dont eat for 16 hours and you can have your meals in the 8 hour period. I have done two days so far without any problems
Do you have the benefits of doing that. I've got some mid section fat that I can't get rid off. It sounds pretty reasonable to do.
@Bobs-got-it hmm that's interesting. I'll have to take a look into that I dry fast. That's where you don't eat or drink from sun up to sun down. This is a great detox for your body and shreds fat
Anyone sticking with a new diet/ exercise routine? And if so how's it working for everyone? My docs got me on this new anti anxiety medication combination. I'm on day three and boy let me tell you, the first two days iwas bed ridden ech but I woke up at 1am and now I can't go back to sleep. I was on adderall but it was giving me anxiety attacks like crazy. Plus my heart would pound my chest when I took my pre workout (very scary) especially since it was amphetamine salts instant release. The last panic attack had me so scared I flushed them all and ripped up my next prescription. I really wish I hadn't done that now because these anti anxiety meds have me lethargic like crazy. Next doc appointment I'm asking for a refill for my adderall. Plus side is I haven't looked at P or even came close to M for over 5 days now . Hopefully the combination of adderall and anti anxiety will be gtg how's everyielse? Doing better I hope. I need a gym membership. How you guys motivate yourselves to workout at home?

The diet stuff is really frustrating because it's all contradictory and full of sponsored content and there's always some supplement or micronutrient I don't have. Meanwhile there's only so much room in my stomach and I need to save space for MORE PROTEIN. I feel like I'm stuck on a hamster wheel.

It really does work with just basics but it is slow but sustainable in it's simplicity. I have seen stress turn someone netting less then 2k calories per day due to hard physical labor into a morbidly obese man who needed emergency gastric bi-pass though so any exercise should not be too demanding of your current shape and if you experience pain especially any sharp pain during exercise you body will try to get you to stop exercising and that is not gonna help you either.

Apparently I really do have to eat 5 meals a day, spaced out in 3-hour intervals. GLL says that I have to make these meals the night before so they'll be ready for me and that my body will eventually get used to eating every 3 hours. I can believe that since I was able to get used to living without porn, the problem is that right now things are awkward at home so I try to stay out of the kitchen, plus I haven't figured out how to make meals I can take with me to work yet.
Man, if I can give my own personal advice. Just stick with proven simple methods. I'm telling you, all this (try the new bla bla workout!) (are you like THIS? Ever thought of BLANK? Maybe you need to try so n sos bla bla hytroprerflabifnghvj diet).... Look brother. No matter who or what you are, proven and simple is going to work. Try to remember something, most of this new stuff has been made famous by guys on the drugs and are trying to make money. If you're natural do this (this is even more simple) 3 sets of 10 reps for every body part every other day. Make every set count! Your whole body will grow and fast and insync and your body will thank you when you're older. Food wise, I love to eat so I trade protein shakes with protein bars and just eat smart. Only water, clean chicken (no skin) no fried, no fast etc you'll grow I promise. If you don't after a few months then it's time for a serious testosterone check up! Cause you may be packin testsies like. 12 y/o girl.
MY CURRENT WORKOUT IS THIS 3 SETS 10 REPS (LAT PULLS) 3 SETS 10 REPS (CHEST PRESS) 3 SETS 10 REPS (SHOULDERS) 3 SETS 10 REPS (BICEP CURLS) 2 SETS 6-10 REPS (TRICEP ROPE PULL DOWNS) 3 SETS 10 REPS (SQUATES) 2 SETS 10-15 REPS (CALF RAISES) 3 SETS TO FAILURE (SITUPS) (do this every other day all the time every other day without skipping a beat) (if at the end of your workout you feel you didn't do abbs and legs hard enough cause you pushed too hard on chest and back then next time do lower body first) (do this for 6-12 weeks adding weight then switch the entire workout to a whole new set of exercises. Same style just chest Flys instead of presses to keep the body guessing. Your off days, just take it easy. You'll be sore but not too sore and just eat ;D you'll grow, you'll keep it simple and you'll keep your joints healthy. Who wants to do this routine with me? You have a testostosterone level of 475 and they won't put you on trt? Typical. They'll tell you 300 is low normal which is normal..... for like a 70 y o man. You need to force your T way low, find a new doc and retake the test

I just got back into Bodybuilding after one year off; this is my second week. I used to be around 200 pound 5:9 and I made msyelf diet lose it and then i got to muscle building many years ago. I'm looking in the right place here then? If anyone wants to be a motivation partner and is doing muscle building let me know. Well go kick SOME ASSSSSSSS!!!! FYI, IF is 1337speak for what it is; Starving yourself and forcing your body to eat its own self . My record weight loss was -1500-2000 calories/ day on 3500-4000 calories/day expenditure. Translation 2 pound a week after reload on weekend. IF is the best way to burn fat, that is all. Dangerous for inexperienced person, possibly deadly, if using stimulants and out of shape.
I had low T due once due to a medication. They offered something to fix it that would get a black box warning. Kind of glad I took the long road back to normal even though it did take at least 6 months
So far it's been 2 years since I quit all my medicaiton. If you want something bad enough the universe will conspire to shit all over you.
