I remember I heard someone relate a problem with porn and masturbation and looking at dirty pixels as being caught in a kind of digital spider web. You get stuck in it, sometimes go a long time without being bit i.e. fapping, but find yourself slowly being drained over time as you are never really breaking the cycle for good. It's like you are trapped in a spider's web and the spider comes around to feed every now and then, and you unknowingly remain stuck in the cycle because you don't realize you are stuck, sex addiction is a very serious issue and PMO is a sexual compulsion issue. Just a thought.

THERE IS NOTHING PRETTY ABOUT THIS. HOW LOW DO YOU WANT TO GO? YOU WANNA HIT BOTTOM? DO YOU KNOW WHAT A ROCK BOTTOM OF PMO LOOKS LIKE? DO YOU UNDERSTAND PMO LEADS TO OTHER FORMS OF SEXUAL COMPULSIONS?

WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE?

Are you content fapping away the rest of your days to pixels? Does it really bring you lasting satisfaction?

    I'm asking myself these too.

If you can't break the cycle it's time to get your ass in Reboot Camp but I can't force you to do anything.

I was giggling uncontrollably as I have been daily after posting in this thread. I don't know why but it's like uncontrollable laughter it was even interrupting my meditation session this morning it was so bad. Bad.

I took a step back and pondered what I've been doing with the animal therapy here. Like stating a letter of the alphabet followed by an animal, B for Baboon for instance.

Why didn't I just say Baboon? Today's animal is baboon? But no I said B for Baboon like this is kindergarten class. I think there is a very good subconscious reason for that.

Porn is inherently dehumanizing. When we become degraded as humans by directly supporting the dehumanization of those being paid to have sex on camera, we come one step closer to losing our humanity each time we click on it or purchase it from a brick and mortar location. Going through our ABC's isn't that crazy in my eyes, it's what children do as they develop into their humanity. Maybe some people have more serious of an issue than others but this is going to be the drill all the way through Z.

I'm not sharing this to encourage you to sign up for this guy's program. No we have an amazing community here and these tools provided to us are superior actually.

I'm sharing it because this man knows sexual compulsion issues deeply as he lived it and spent a lifetime healing people from the inside out. He has a great book on the subject which includes porn obsession and shame, it's fantastic. I read it then donated it to spread the good news, WE CAN BE FREE!

Just study him you don't need to invest a dime. I would encourage you to use Reboot Camp as Mark and Alexander are a winning recovery team so I've been told by many users who have enrolled.

I think it's normal people look up to one another on a forum like this.

If I'm honest I do not seek any insight or guidance from users here. Not that I think I have more insight than anyone else here, it's just I'm at a point where I don't take chances with my recovery. I also have standards of what I view as success and the stories here for me are more about getting one's life back than achieving some notable accomplishment (it's an amazing personal success by all means).

When I want insight into being successful at life I turn to things like this channel on YouTube:

It hurts to be alone offline. It feels good to have fellowship and community. What makes a community helpful is sharing strength, hope, and experience with each other. Seek and you will find here I have no doubt. Everyone is looking for something unique I suppose.

I think it's important to cheer our fellows on and offer forth our own tips and strategies if we must do so. We should share in their glories in the Success Story section. I don't read them myself here anymore if I'm honest, I've cheered people on and offered congrats lots of times, been there done that you could say. I think I may start reading the reset and relapse reports though as you may learn more on how to succeed in recovery actually than reading someone's success story. Some people need the hope and are hungry for benefits that get advertised in success stories though.

It's normal for people to speak about not masturbating and the benefits it can bring publicly on YouTube. Everybody has something unique to offer to the world and many people are hungry for that specific knowledge these days. When the mass media touts the "health benefits" of masturbation it only makes sense people from NoFap would get on YouTube and describe in detail how the opposite is actually is the case, one's health becomes supreme when sexual transmutation is practiced.

One more self improvement channel before we return to our ABC animal therapy:

Actually people have been talking about the benefits of semen retention long before NoFap was around. I didn't mean to imply only members from NoFap offer this kind of knowledge and share their personal experiences with it on YouTube. You will find info regarding sexual transmutation and not masturbating on YouTube from people who have never heard the term fapping not to speak of NoFap.
