I could type out pages in my own words here but I already understand my issue in its entirety. Now I'm just focusing on the work. I will write something lengthy before my work stops on this forum but I feel it's pointless to fumble with the shortcomings of my own mind until that time.

“Class is an aura of confidence that is being sure without being cocky. Class has nothing to do with money. Class never runs scared. It is self-discipline and self-knowledge. It's the sure-footedness that comes with having proved you can meet life. ”
    Ann Landers

“Self-control is the chief element in self-respect, and self-respect is the chief element in courage.”
Thucydides, History of the Peloponnesian War

“Self-respect is the root of discipline: The sense of dignity grows
with the ability to say no to oneself.”
    Abraham Joshua Heschel

    LYRICS:

I hear the sounds, repeating echoes, in the distance.
Familiar rounds, of thunder telegraph a war.
The evil winds, it's way, through every television.
The fear is blinding, leaves us shattered, to the core.

Ou, ou, you can’t control us, ou, ou, it’s time you see.

We’re standing our ground, you can’t push us around.
We’re not, paralyzed in the panic, won’t bow to you, anymore.
Your fear’s a disease, how long, till you see?
We’re not giving, into your madness, if hate is the crime, love is the cure.

You try, to pull the wool, over the eyes, of justice.
Convince yourself, you do it only, for your God.
But all your ignorance, is sick inside, your silence.
Put down your guns, it’s time we healed, the mess you made, because.

We’re standing our ground, you can’t push us around.
We’re not, paralyzed in the panic, won’t bow to you, anymore.
Your fear’s a disease, how long, till you see?
We’re not giving, into your madness, if hate is the crime, love is the cure.

If hate is the crime, love is the cure, if hate is the crime, love is the cure.
If hate is the crime, love is the cure, if hate is the crime, love is.

We’re standing our ground, you can’t push us around.
We’re not, paralyzed in the panic, won’t bow to you, anymore.
Your fear’s a disease, how long, till you see?
We’re not giving, into your madness, if hate is the crime, love is.

We’re standing our ground, you can’t push us around.
We’re not, paralyzed in the panic, won’t bow to you, anymore.
Your fear’s a disease, how long, till you see?
We’re not giving, into your madness, if hate is the crime, love is the cure.

Animal therapy parade coming through. This self improvement thread needs as much therapy as it does self development content. Hey animal therapy, even watching videos of animals, is proven highly effective by science. This is really just a form of self improvement in a sense.

“Adulthood brings with it the pernicious illusion of control, and perhaps even depends on it. I mean that mirage of dominion over our own life that allows us to feel like adults, for we associate maturity with autonomy, the sovereign right to determine what is going to happen to us next. Disillusion comes sooner or later, but it always comes, it doesn’t miss an appointment, it never has.”
Juan Gabriel Vásquez, The Sound of Things Falling

“Compassion hurts. When you feel connected to everything, you also feel responsible for everything. And you cannot turn away. Your destiny is bound with the destinies of others. You must either learn to carry the Universe or be crushed by it. You must grow strong enough to love the world, yet empty enough to sit down at the same table with its worst horrors.”

“The universe is big, its vast and complicated, and ridiculous. And sometimes, very rarely, impossible things just happen and we call them miracles. And that's the theory. Nine hundred years, never seen one yet, but this would do me.”
    ― Steven Moffat

“Believe something and the Universe is on its way to being changed. Because you've changed, by believing. Once you've changed, other things start to follow. Isn't that the way it works?”
― Diane Duane, So You Want to Be a Wizard

This is fun! All these therapies are helping me improve myself! I like this! See ya tomorrow Mr. Enigma!

I'm going to be honest. I feel anxiety everytime I log onto this forum. Why? I worry that there is going to be a negative post in one of my threads that I'm going to have to waste time and energy diffusing into positivity. It hurts me inside feeling this way. I'm not afraid of someone personally trying to attack me and what I stand for here, no, it just hurts my inner child knowing someone would want to be negative towards me when I would only want to hug them.
